@@jug01 in a negative corner fed room you don't want to start the pie from the strong side or you will be killed instantly.

You'd rather be on the weak side since being on the strong side would have you lean into the threshold to reach for the handle throwing off your balance. Being on the strong side will also mean you won't be able to have you gun up right away while exposing yourself to the inside, where the weak side you can go into your slice
