- Second part in our Dry Fire series.
With COVID19 restricting most training routines to a certain level - We figured out we should try and contribute to the situation, and release some training material. This video is stripped down to the minimum and is oriented around a basic explanation and 0 cool guys speedy graphic. So get your learn on.

So what were doing today:
We will Several stuff. First - the context of shoulder transitions. When and when we will not do a transition? Secondarily, we will discuss types and considerations of shoulder transitions.

please make an A-Z beginner to advanced course, people would pay top dollar for some organized instructions with drills like the uf pro series. shouldn’t be too hard connecting with good cinematographers with your skill set. awesome teaching keep up the great work!
You can go to their ORC course in Europe.
Online course seems low possibility.
This was exactly what I was looking for! So many options and situations it's difficult to figure out what works best for me.
My personal opinion is that unless you regularly practice shooting full transition it is very difficult to be effective.

Based off of things I’m guessing only police and military can shoot real ammo at gecko, civs can only dry fire and do force on force. I really think holding these courses in a country where everyone can shoot a gun would reach more people and provide better shooting skills. Plus it’s like 2+ grand in course fees, travel and hotel accommodation. There’s so much to learn from gecko I can tell, but when I can pay half the price, travel a tenth as far and actually shoot the gun it makes gecko less attractive sadly. Till then I guess it’s Chris Costa, Travis Haley, John Lovell, Mike Glover, Tu Lam etc.
You may be guessing too much. I am a civilian and I trained live fire with Project Guecko. The live fire courses are held in Czech Republic, FoF in Germany.

If you make the habit to always switch shoulders and present the weapon to meet your angle of engagement it will become second nature just like anything else. If you don’t think so just watch any good airsoft players GoPro footage…
Side transitions are pretty commonly taught, but as you mentioned it's not that easy to shoot your opposite side under stress. What are your thoughts on when transitions are appropriate?
Gecko team, when working angles from a threshold you sometimes mention bailing out when coming into contact with an enemy. In another video you also mentioned that a lot of things we tend to call “cover” is actually “concealment”.
So, if you are spotted by an enemy, and you don’t know what type of cover the threshold and the walls are actually offering, wouldn’t it be better to be aggressive since the enemy might just shoot you through the wall?
This is the one thing I don’t understand about your method of CQB.

Is this only for right handed shooters I dont understand what he means by weak n strong side unless with a rifle and even then why is switching your hand bad? Bc of toggles? Like a right handed gun?
Can someone enlighten me.... As to why switching to the left hand is bad or less effective?

Yes. Even if you train with your weak side you're still going to be slower and less coordinated than with your strong. This is why he says he only does a full transition if he has the time and distance.
