The potential this show had...Russia loved this series so much and yet it appears that an average american viewer was more interested in Desperate Housewives...And ABC used to be all about ratings and "right" investments, so when people started to lose interest in the show, ABC didn't even have to think twice before canceling the shit out of it. They had a choice to make. It's either Flash Forward or Visitors and they went with the latter cause it was cheaper to produce. And look how that turned out. That long-ass break between episodes 10 and 11 didn't help the situation much either . It's a shame that Flash Forward was just ahead of its time. In the age of binge-watching it would have been much more successful . I can't get over the fact that the soundtrack never got released. That the show ended on a cliffhanger that ain't ever gonna be resolved. That a massive blackout in front of ABC's headquarters and all those petitions to bring the show back didn't do shit. They had smth special with this show. And all we can do now is fantasize about what could've happened. And there's not even that many people who still talk about it or even remember it. That's just sad.
If you dig on these interwebs, the series ending was revealed by the creator. Gave me some peace of mind but still it remains a tragedy that this show ended prematurely.
If only amazon prime or Netflix took this over, it was such an amazing show! I read the book it was based on but it’s a completely different story. Both good in their own way.

Ok, so someone from the past saw his designs for this device before he'd invented it. But isn't it those things that cause the flashforwards? Or is something else that causes them and this device simply transmits it?
Flashforwards can be undiced in individuals, but it requires a butload of druging, and even so, the average person dosent remeber much. Autism and other neurodivergent conditions do help to retain a memory, but to induce it in more then 1 person or for most people to remeber it, you need this device
