I have been playing golf for more than 60 years and I didn't become a good putter until I adopted three things. One "don't" and two "dos". Don't become mechanical, putting is 99.9% feel. Get a comfortable grip and stance, and three, hit the ball into the hole. Simple as that.....don't make it harder than it is.

A draw is nice but not necessary. Buy a can of powder foot spray and use it to hone a center of face swing. No need to overswing when you hit the center of the driver. You'll be in the fairway a high percentage of the time with more distance than you're used to. Seriously, work on the center hits.
Love your hints but why is there a solid bar with a Japanese or Chinese lettering over your ball? If someone out there wants to translate your instructions in English, at least they should have the courtesy to write their instruction way to the left or right of your video.

I would add how tight you hold the grip as I tend to hold too tight. I lift the putter straight up in front of me with the head slightly lower than my hands, then lower to set up.

Aimee, I have a bad back and I sometimes use a broom handle long putter when it is really bothering me. Do you have a tip for using one when the anchoring rule changes at the beginning of 2016? But I went out to the course early yesterday (before my round) and practiced with a metal yardstick and a mirror, and worked it out. My stroke was ok (stayed on the yardstick), but I think I was standing too close to the ball; eyes over/past the ball. I putted much better during my round and shot my lowest score of the year. Thanks from Michael, an on and off golfer for 67 years, my Grand Pa used to tell me that some of the best putters in the world were women, some of whom only played on the putting greens that were part of many public parks in those days.

Phil Mickelson advises to not stand directly over the ball, but slightly behind the ball to give you a better look at the hole, and ball path.

This has been helpful. But…When I focus on abs I lose awareness of my hands. If I maintain hand awareness I’m much more accurate with my putts

I have been frustrated with my putting lately (too many 3-putts, missing too many 3-4 footers).
