Episode 6 All post and floor beam done (very nearly there)

This week we have come out off the ground all posts are done and floor beam very nearly there
Great to see its shape from Birds Eye view on top off the digger which was there to help with trenches and to level floor with soil for next phase the crawl space floor pour
Also a realisation off house high off the ground our slab floor of house will be
These guys have worked hard and are really nice with it too

The round pillars are to support the roof there will be no walls attached too them cheers Gary and Mon 50/50

If it all goes to plan and I can't see any reason why not phase one as I call it will be main slab and roof finished before we return to Uk
I have told our builder that if not done work stops if we not there and we pay upto what he has done
he has assured me it will be done by end off Feb
so what this space

The floor ring beam is commonly called the plinth beam in construction. 😊

Hi mate I guess different countries different name on our plans it translates soil ring beam
In the west we wouldn't fill that void with soil it would be aggregate and have DPM too
buts it only crawl space under house to get to services cheers Gary and Mon 50/50

Hi That is cement board screwed onto box steel fitted between concrete posts
