Does putting a front splitter on an rc car help it aerodynamic wise? I threw this motor on my rustler, geared it up and now when it hits around 80-90mph it's wheelies up and I have to let off. Thanks.

When I drive my revo on 6s it is also very hard to control, but the small tires make it even harder... ^^ One thing you could do against the wheelys is to build a custom spoiler for the front of the car. It would help to get more traction on the street... Maybe I'll build one in the next few months... ^^

I reakon with the wing adjusted down abit.. It would run better, gets up to speed and it's too much rear down force with nothing keeping the front down. And drop the suspension heaps too. Maximum low.

I recorded the audio from 2:11 to 2:13, cleaned it up, and ran it through my Doppler program. It yielded 113kph or 70mph. That is really Moving! Great job!
i know but like i said stock tires can only go 60 with this tires i had over 70mph so its faster well with some gearing i did thats why i mean tires can hold speed stock can only blow up
actually i am getting sick from xo-1 wheels, once i though slick tires have lots of grip but those tires looks like drift tires that can hold 100mph+ even when running my xo-1 i can't reach more than 60mph without loosing control on the track
cool video I got mine similar but I'm running the tekin rx8 gen 2 and the 2250kv sensored motor using pro line road rage tires [ STRAPPED ] and rear wheely bar but too the 1oz stick on wheels weights for semi tires got 3oz ea side in front places evenly next to servos and stiff sway bars purple Springs front and rear 80wt oil still tries to wheely but it's fast as heck and handles so much better now at high speeds lol try it

What are the wheels and tires you are using? I keep blowing out my stock wheels and tires at sustained runs above 45 MPH.
Look like you need a custom long wheelie bar to get the most of the car. Great speed runs BTW.

Lead tape under the front of the chassis....makes you crash harder , but handling improves 10x

you should get a front wing or splitter to help with the front lifting. It'll slow it down yes but the downforce will give you alot of control

If you like running on pavement...XO-1 wheels are worth it. Handling blows away any other expanding tire.
lower the ride height and add a little weight down low, the extra traction will more than make up for the added weight
