    This scene really illustrates the Sith learning process. When savage told Dooku he hated him and Dooku said "Good..." that gave me a chill.

      Sith train their apprentices but also don't exactly teach them everything, as an insurance policy. If Savage wasn't a completely dumb brute, he could figure out on his own that a lightsaber is a solid method of defense against Force Lightning.

      @@masterexploder9668 Not always. Yoda tried it against Darth Sidious, but the latter was so powerful, his Force Lightning just forced Yoda's lightsaber out of his hands.

      S no it wasn't bullshit, but he never taught it to Vader. He did use it for numerous evil purposes, though. The engineer of the death star, was a guy named Bevel Lemelisk. And after it was destroyed, sidious was so pissed that he kept killing Lemelisk in numerous horrible ways and bringing him back to life in clone bodies.

      Makashi is a great style. You can tell Dooku is a skilled fighter, and he uses his saber style to wear out his enemies. Notice how when he fights, even against Anakin and Obi-Wan, he doesn't fight to kill.

    • @masterexploder9668
      @masterexploder9668 4 ปีที่แล้ว +42

      He deflects Savage's attacks to the side, as a born fencer, Dooku is excellent at deflecting attacks and bypassing defences of his enemies. When he can't break enemy's defence (Obi-Wan in Ep. 3 was simply too good at that point), Dooku could go back to his extensive choice of Force abilities. I still think he was one of the best all-rounded fighters in SW series ever, though at the point of his death I believe old age started to catch up to him and he tired significantly faster than in his younger years. Similar case to Yoda, he could still kick ass when augmented by Force, but usually he had to walk slowly with a cane. He was unable to continue his duel vs Palpatine in Ep. 3 though to be fair he took quite a beating by falling to the ground.

    I always wanted to see Grievous fight Dooku like how they did in the 2003 series, even though Grievous isn't as good as he use to be, it should be after the practice fight Dooku gives some advice to help so the next time we see Grievous he pretty much improves since he's listening to Dooku's advice. I would have loved to see that atleast. Just like how it was in the 2003 series but into this series to even show a bond between Dooku and Grievous since i always liked seeing them together/working together like best friends.

Just the Clone Wars Team didn't use him much or really use him correctly in my opinion. Count Dooku is Beyond Evil, but you have to say “He is a really good teacher”
    To bad Savage had to betray him, they would’ve been unstoppable

    The Sith training technique isn’t even a technique. It’s purely menacing. Insulting your apprentice and making them mad so they can use their anger and hatred.

    Honestly I'm more scared of apprentices trained by dooku then any other sith lord besides Sidious, Like shit man he actually wants his trainee to learn and to get better, he teaches through words and infromation than just Zap Zap.

    "You have no technique, sloppy. But with the proper training, you could be a powerful warrior."
    I love how Dooku's words to Savage mirrors Anakin's first words to Ahsoka
    "You're reckless, little one, you would've never made it as Obi-Wan's padawan. But you might make it as mine."

    I love how this shows that the sith r not savage monsters/barbarians the Jedi of old have classified as. They actually have technique, intelligence, and a real philosophy/wisdom

    You know what's cool is that Savage likely made his double bladed lightsaber out of the crystals that belonged to the two Jedi he killed at the end of the last episode

    I’d love to see how a nightsister trains in magick. It’d be awesome to see Cal and Merrin have a kid together and the kid learns Jedi and Nightsister powers.
