    Hi Dave, as always it's always a pleasure to see you. Thank you for a very nice and professionally done review and I enjoyed your honest opinions as I have said before, you are very good at reviewing different products and this was no exception, you nailed many points regarding Fiio daps and more. So my friend thanks again for a very nice moment.🙏🙏💪💪

      This wasn’t a review as I did the review on this product a while back. It was just saying it’s a great budget friendly option for those that want to use their phones to go digitally to their DSP’s and then more rambling about DAP’s and car audio 😆

      @@CarAudioHorizons Hi Dave, yes it was like a nice review for me with suggestions brilliantly made and your statement about DAPS is absolutely correct as I have been thinking the same thing about the quality, it's a shame Fiio have lowered their standard but hopefully their next DAP might be a better one one. I appreciate all your videos my friend.😄

      @@CarAudioHorizonsdid you experience a gain in SQ after getting the audioquest cables? Especially the coaxial cable?
      I read digital is digital and all that a lot but in my experience everything ACTUALLY makes a difference. My iphone to topping to helix sounds much different to my ipad pro to topping to helix. Both being completely digital yet there’s a huge difference in sound.
      So i’m thinking of tossing out my unbranded toslink cable for an audioquest coaxial, IF it makes a difference in sound.

    Hello Dave, nice to see you again after a very long time! I'm still very confused about the music source in the car. I have HU: Alpine F509 (Halo 9), DAP: Fiio M11 Plus LTD, DSP AMP Helix V Twelve, Mobile phone: Samsung S23Ultra. I want to use Halo 9 because it can Easy to control and safe to drive. Halo 9 connect RCA to DSP. on Halo 9 i can play offline music from USB or Online Music by Android Auto. Also i have DAP Fiio M11 Plus LTD, i have two way connect M11Plus to DSP: RCA (3.5mm lineout to RCA) and Optical ( SMSL PO100 Pro convert usb-c to Optical). I dont know with M11Plus conntect RCA Or Optical to DSP will get better sound. So now i have three way play Music on car. Beetwen Halo 9 and M11 Plus i see play music on M11 Plus has louder volume, i dont know why?
    I see all of you play Digital connection: Coaxial or Optical. But i see play music from DAP or Smartphone has small screen, not safe driving.
    If I had to choose, could I ask for your advice? Should I keep the Halo 9 or the M11 plus?

    • @CarAudioHorizons
      @CarAudioHorizons  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@diepphankhanh2172 Each source needs to be tuned separately. The FiiO M11 Plus Ltd isn’t plug & play no DAP’s are. When used as a source in car audio they need to be set up like one, meaning separate tune for it.
      In all honesty when you are putting together your car audio system you need to know what you plan to use a your source or source’s as then you would know that the Hekix V 12 and the Helix V 8 which are good dsp/amps but they lack a coaxial digital input which the Helix .3s, Pro 2 and Ultra and Ultra S all have. I’m not a fan of the all in one dsp/amp I like separate dsp and separate amps as they are a lot more flexible and you’re not limited in connections and power.

    How would your compare the SMSL PO100 compared to the Topping D10S as far as sound only.

    • @CarAudioHorizons
      @CarAudioHorizons  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @satyavratadas1640 The SMSL PO 100 Pro uses the latest XMOS 3rd generation USB solution XU316 where as the Topping D10S or D10B uses XMOS XU208. That being said you can’t go wrong with either. Sound wise in my vehicle it’s close but I slightly prefer the SMSL but I would buy both and keep the one that has the least amount of connection issues. I haven’t used the Topping since I did the review so it’s been quite some time.

    As incredible as it may seem, the Mosconi 8/30 pro only has quality at 16bit/44khz!! using the amas ld4c you get 24bit/96khz!! but it is a bluetooth connection. With the po100 pro the quality is still at 16bit/44khz but if it is wired, will there be any improvement? Is it worth your purchase?

    • @CarAudioHorizons
      @CarAudioHorizons  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@raulin44 The Mosconi 8/30 is 48kHz/24 bit. The Mosconi Aerospace DSP is 96kHz/24bit. The Brax DSP is 192kHz/24bit same with the hi end Zapco’s DSP. That being said it doesn’t really matter as it’s all about the recording and I wouldn’t get hung up on numbers. Just because something can play say 192kHz/24bit doesn’t mean it’s going to sound good.
      The SMSL PO100 Pro can pass through 192kHz/24bit but like i mentioned there is only a few DSP’s that can handle 192kHz/24bit after the signal has been converted to analog.

    hello sir good morning from PHILIPPINES> i have a topping Dx1. my dsp dont have digital outputs/coaxial.
    is it okay use the rca at the back of topping to a 3.5mm jack in a car stereo? ""i will purchase rca to .5 wire"
    or i might just go with 3.5 "topping dx1" to 3.5mm ""HU" cable?

      @@MrAlberto356 You asked the same question on my other video. If you have an alpine head unit it would be pointless using a topping DX1 into it as they’re probably equivalent SQ wise.
      If you’re going to use a DAC/AMP DAC/DAP it needs to be better than your head unit
