Countess Mara ties. When I was working in a men's store back in the 70s, they sold for $40 a pop. Expensive in those days. Quilters sometimes have a use silk ties.
The Calvin Klein Black Patent Tuxedo Shoes will sell for $20 or $30 on ebay so that should recoup most of your money Renee xxx Regards from Alison in Northern Ireland
That was a lovely Murano glass decanter, Renee, really nice. Silk ties? Lovely. Maybe the Annie Hall look for the next adventure? La- De - Da, La - De - Da.……
Wow! You have some great Italian leather shoes there! Those black tuxedo shoes are fantastic! I think you’ll probably get back more money in the shoes than anything else. You made a great buy.
A few years ago, women were gathering ties of the same color, or red as one of the colors and sewing them like stripes into mini skirts. They were really cute but I didnt have time to do that much sewing. But, maybe on a snowy day.
If you don’t want to use the storage bags (zip licks) for food, you can use them to hold and organize your paper ephemera, or small toy pieces. I probably use storage bags for items more than food. Keeps things dust free and organized.
Around here the odd plates would definitely sell. It seems to be a trend for wedding receptions. Mismatched plates and water goblets. I have helped several brides find these.
Quilters/crafters sometimes use ties ! And, the shirts too, quilters/crafters/sewists use those as well ! Don't even worry about washing, or if they are stained. Anyone who uses these types of items will wash before using, and cut out any stained areas !! Nice haul, Renee !! As others have said, those are pretty sturdy totes for hauling stuff to and from the flea !!
There used to be a Countess Mara factory in the town I live in. It closed in the early 2000’s I believe. My husband loved their ties. My daughter bought my husband one of their ties today at an estate sale.
That was a good day for you, Renée. Even the totes are worth more than 25 bucks and will be perfect to store your flea market merchandise. I see profit in the Murano decanter set (if it´s genuine), Pyrex, Tupperware, the Italian silk ties and even in the shoes. The "dark side of the moon" is that my Phillipsburg spies told me that your dentist invoice was a little bit higher than expected. 😐That´s life, you know. Anyways, have a fantastic weekend, keep up your good work and see you on the next one ! 🌄Greets from GER, U.
Go through all the clothes pockets and in the shoes sometimes you can find money in them too. You couldn't replace them tote lose that $ 20.00 each. Cushions in chairs and couches and in mattresses I find money in them too.
I think you did great with this pallet! The totes themselves are worth what you paid for the pallet plus you get hours of entertainment searching through it all 😊
This was exciting to me. And I ou were still giggling at the end, so I know you're not devastated😂. But you sure are a cutie with your hair this length. I always wanted my hair to turn up like that, and it never did last for more than half an hour. I love you. Thanks for taking me along.❤️😘💞💞💞🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏✌️
That was fun watching you go through the totes Rene..😮😊 You never know what you're going to find in there..🙄 The decanter looks really nice and should make your money back plus..😍 Fun auction win..🎉 Take care..👍💕🔥👊
One last thing...a product called Leather CPR will bring much life back to many of those smooth leather shoes...increase your chances to get a few bucks a pair for them at the flea market. 👍
Thanks for the video Renee. That decanter is nice . Perhaps the plates will bring a buck at the flea. Some people buy ties to make skirts or other crafts
Your decanter is Bohemian glass and you can sell it alone, if you don't find any more glasses to go with it. The totes themselves must be worth a minimum of $5 each. Not a homerun, but you will double or triple your money, I'm sure!
I had bought s few of those ties for a x of mine and paid $50.00 + on quite a few of them! Some of those shoes as well fetch for a $30.00+ and Tupperware always sells here and to me a great find and useful. Look up those plates and such they seem to be of some value from little I saw. All in all 'd say worth what you paid for it all. :)
I was curious,so I looked up Murano glass carafes, I didn’t find your exact one, but I saw several in the same style. The ones I saw did have all the glasses with the carafe, but, the good news was the worth was out of this world! Like six hundred and up! 🤯 Please, don’t sell it at the flea market for five dollars. It would be my hope that without all the glasses, you still should get 75 to 100 dollars. 🤞🏼. ✌🏼❤️
I think you have some good items in there. All those shoes look to be in good shape. Ties sell even vintage ones. The clothes seem to be in good shape. Its worth alot more than $25. Plus the Murano is probably worth who knows....probably more than $25. Good Luck selling.
The totes may not have been what you wanted but your enthusiasm alone makes the video! And you will definitely make your money & then some. I guess with the decanter and the Countess Maras you'll be able to "tie one on" whenever you feel like it - but just one given the lone cup. I'm curious about the tie market these days. I guess certain professions still wear ties, and there are always semi-formal events, but I thought ties were going the way of film and landlines. I'm glad they may be a good profit item for you. Still confused about Murano. Is it a brand, a region, a type of glass? All of the above? I need to research glass. Liked the seed coat you had on - trying to remember where you got it. Glad you took a risk and let us see the reveal - even adding a little suspense as you opened things - and a good laugh at the last tote when it was more clothes. I wish you huge money reselling these things. Have a tremendous Friday afternoon, and may your weekend be full of magic & wonder!
For Murano, I did a quick search and it appears that "Murano glass" is "defined as being made in a special place using a special technique". But other websites list other definitions. Seems complicated! For some reason, I think that clip-on bowties had a big comeback over the last few years, especially among the younger "hipster" crowd. As for regular ties, I agree with you that they are going out of style for most. I don't even know if they are popular anymore for high school dances or other formal events. Like everything, they will probably have their comeback at some point! A working Saturday here, resting up for what will hopefully be a good day of picking at the flea market tomorrow. Only 2 weekends left at my flea market, how sad!
Always look at the ties. At Goodwill I have found ties from Hermes, Dior and Gucci and sold them for a bundle. I also found a West Point tie that sold for a lot.
I rarely buy lotto tickets, so I definitely did better than buying one 🙂 I’ll splurge on a $1 scratch off every few months, usually winning another free $1 ticket haha.
Tote of ties=one heck of a "Neck Tie" Party! Clothes=ZZZZZZ! Bet you hope #4 is the WINNER!! MORE CLOTHES=AAAAAHHHHHH! Well, at least you got those totes to store the real treasures of a future unit! Note...all of the previous remarks are my own, as a collector, not a seller, which I'm not!
Buying totes this week is definitely cheaper than buying them at the store! It's crazy how much even a small plastic tote costs. They are green in color, like your favorite creature!
@@PaperandMooseEverything is so out of line as to cost...parts of today's society reminds me of George Orwell's "1984"...which I'm currently re-reading after my last read in the late '60s. I love your determined look as you load that tote into the van.
Hi Renee. I really think you got your money back on those totes. The ties are vintage alone you really did get your monies worth. This was an amazing Auction. God Bless you sweet heart. Take care. Mari'a. 👍👍👍👍👍🤗❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗🤗🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛🎃🎃🎃👻👻👻💜💜💜💜💜
You didn’t lose anything you got 5 totes for your use for $25. If they are in good shape you’ll get your money back on those alone.
I agree Renée with some of the other viewers. The Mirano glass decanter can be worth some money as well as the Silk ties
The ties are high end. Thank you for taking us along for your seeking treasure, the totes are worth it in its self.
I suspect that Taco Stacks isn’t very knowledgeable about ties. Some people make quilts and tablecloths out of them.
i had some old ties with hula gals and fancy patterns got 30 bucks for over a dozen at an antique store
Countess Mara ties. When I was working in a men's store back in the 70s, they sold for $40 a pop. Expensive in those days. Quilters sometimes have a use silk ties.
They were my dads tie of choice. In fact recently I was in Marshall’s & got a black bow tie of theirs for my son.
Absolutely love your hair long Renee.....looks beautiful
She has great hair, I agree.
It warms my heart knowing that you and Taco Stacks are friends and share the same hobby.
I think they are more than friends.
The Calvin Klein Black Patent Tuxedo Shoes will sell for $20 or $30 on ebay so that should recoup most of your money Renee xxx Regards from Alison in Northern Ireland
They were fancy! Reminded me of the days when guys would rent a tux & shoes for prom.

I’ve been those type skirts & they are adorable!

if you have ties that will not sell, some quilters like to use ties to make quilt patterns
Keep the zip lock baggies for collectables and smalls if not for food use.
You are so bubbly in this video, you must be doing well. I hope so. God bless you....and Stacks.
The stunned look on your face when you opened that first tote was priceless.
This is fun to watch. 😉
Etsy has the Murano decanter with cups for $139! Hope you find the cups!
I went through that tote & there weren’t any more cups, only the one 😑
It's always fun to see whatever you find Thanks for taking us along wherever you go 🇨🇦🦩
All those shoes look huge. Someone could use the ties for a quilt or crafts. Always enjoy your videos
Around here the odd plates would definitely sell. It seems to be a trend for wedding receptions. Mismatched plates and water goblets. I have helped several brides find these.
Saves a ton of $$.
When you said the one tote was marked Books, but it wasn’t heavy I thought maybe they are DIET BOOKS! Just a little laugh for you 😂
Check the ties for any marked X-long and mark them. My husband and sons need X-long and they are harder to find in stores.
Calvin Klien Bernards sell for between $20 an $40, so you did ok! That's just one pair of the shoes.
Sperry Top Siders were nice also! $$
your hair looks great
Haven't watched since your short hair...love the length you have it now! Makes you look so pretty!
Gotta say young lady. I love watxhing your shows. You seem like a very nice person. Easy to watch. Cudos to you
Fun video…just watching your excitement was worth more than all the totes. Thanks.
Murano decanter is so pretty
“You’re weird. I like it!” That could be the new PAM slogan! ;-)
It’s always fun when you take us along.
Thank you Renee❤👏 I love a mystery.

I think you can make your money on the Murano glass and the ties. Some of the dishes could bring some money, too,.
The totes are worth more than $25! Have a good weekend and take care darling xx
I was so part of the puffy paint craze lol....lots of painted t-shirts 😄
Puff paint was great! I remember making lots of shirts too, think I even used it on a jacket once!

Another fabulous treasure storage units totes videos

There was a striped Coogi style sweater in the clothing tote. Depending on age and brand those can sell high and quickly.
Countess Mara was a very high-end tie maker back in the '70s-Frank Sinatra favored that brand.
I think you did great with this pallet! The totes themselves are worth what you paid for the pallet plus you get hours of entertainment searching through it all 😊
You’re definitely going to make your $25 back, and then some! 👍🏻😀
I love that you take chances. As long as you get your money back and you can make content, you're doing A OK 😊

murano always a good find.

Hey, you never know - maybe the vintage t-shirt craze will die down and the next new phase will include dress shirts!
Thanks for the video Renee. That decanter is nice . Perhaps the plates will bring a buck at the flea. Some people buy ties to make skirts or other crafts
I use the open ziplock, foil, and similar things for garage, yard, and garden needs.
The actual totes are worth 10 bucks a piece as well!
Great video Renee

The decanter was pretty ❤
We used to get school supplies in those green totes when I was a teacher. They’re awesome.

Yeeessss! This was definitely worth it. It's so much fun getting to check out what you ended up with. ☺️👏❤️
Sell the Daniel Craig tie and Black Shoes together as a "James Bond Combo Special" for $25 😊
I have always loved a mystery bag or box. This was worth the $25 for the suspense and fun, but I do think you will make a profit.😊 Fingers crossed.🤞❤️
I think the silk ties and some of the shoes will get you your money back. Thanks for the fun!
Maybe those ties can be vintage styles for the film making industry
Your kind of palette is in your future, I just know it! 😁❤️❤️Please be careful and stay safe!
It was Fun!!!! Have a Fun Weekend Guys!!!! 🤗♥️👍
Nice plates with a floral design ide love to break for my mosaics.
Have a great day. I enjoyed this video 😊
Keep trying we will be there with you, good luck.❤
I have a friend who is making a tree skirt out of ties! 🎄🎄🌲
I bought a bunch of vintage ties, and they were great sellers on Ebay!!

I think you did ok. Most of the stuff is sellable as well as the totes themselves.😊
That Sony piece will almost recoup your outlay - if in working condition. If any of those underwear are nip they sell for big bucks
Some ties can be worth money. The totes are worth money too. Some shoes do ok in good shape.
That last pair of shoes in the bag were mens evening pumps.
Always look at the ties. At Goodwill I have found ties from Hermes, Dior and Gucci and sold them for a bundle. I also found a West Point tie that sold for a lot.

That bunch of ties though, wow! Can they be cleaned and ironed?
I think the fancy pillow case might be prayer rugs
The totes are worth $5 each. Keep them for what you take to the flea.
Let us know about the Murano decanter! Definitely made your money back and then some .
My father in law wore Countess Mara ties. Unfortunately, he is no longer with us 😢. I think you did well. I enjoy watching you ❤❤❤
