Was actually tensed when that man told about elephants..And what u told must be right.. Not much would've changed from KA times as we can't see anything other than forest there.. Really blessed u r to feel the nature in its true beauty and that too through KAs trails... Waiting for part 2!!!
That paasi he is referring to at 26.45 is what we call Kal Paasi in Tamil which is Black stone flower, which is one of the main ingredients used in garam masalas and biryani masalas, collecting which is one of the main businesses of villagers besides cattle grazing in western ghats region in Tamilnadu.
Excellent story you portrayed to your followers and the adventure through those jungles and I can feel your apprehension and fear of what you may encounter on your travels . Admire you courage going solo, Because there still may be carnivores in those jungles, You are brave man,❤
Thanks a lot for the kind words. There is a lot of freedom when you go solo, but yes regarding the risks I try to go well after daylight so that there are less chances of encountering any wildlife.
Wow Wonderful ride. Not much has changed in & around manchi since KA times.I have trekked this region two times.SR you are doing wonderful job for those who can’t make it into this region due several reasons. You are taking lot of risk in presenting this video. Thanks 👍.
14:00 Like he(Legend Kenneth Anderson) also mentioned Lantana grass. The plant which have those pink flowers on either side of the road, actually it is..
Really happy to've stumbled upon your channel, Shreyas. Great content. Very much similar to the things I do and like. Always love discovering spots withing driving distance from Bangalore. Keep them coming :)
@11:55 - Asking the Gaur for directions - LOL - we cant' stop showing off our silly side when we are on our own in the middle of nowhere. . Now don't ask me what all I say when I do such solo trips.
@@Shreyas.Ranganathyeah I saw ur second episode also . Very nice . This has stirred interest on that book from Anderson . But very strange this place was never touched by anyone from TN . It was an indeed a discovery for me, through ur video.

I think lantana are one of the reasons for disappearence of tigers from that habitat 😅
Both Lantana and Juliflora are menace, but villagers in my region use lantana and juliflora for cost effective fencing.
Oh is it, ok....👍
It aminzing
I think you in Cauvery North WLS, after 50 years tiger finally spotted in this sanctuary in Feb 2024
Yes, in jowalgiri range, exciting news....🙂

Shreyas, you need a himalayan or Ktm adv. How about a jimny ? 😉
Agree, even xpulse would be a very good light weight bike and Jimny would be great too....🙂
