Thanks for showing the build, decided to use it as im newer, and plan on sterting havoc soon been having fun with it in Damnation, only thing i did differently was swap out combat blade for tac axe since my blade isnt levelled. Much appreciated tho.
tac axe will probably work well too. you basically need a weapon that gives you mobility and has the "assassination" attack type on its primary attacks and that's because "assassination" attack type has a 15% crit chance compared to other attack types that have 5%. More crit = faster Chorus refreshes for your team. Other than that, knife will apply bleeds faster and is pretty good for killing crushers due to bleed + uncanny strike combo. On the other hand, tac axe will deal faster with hordes and human sized elites but then again you have flamer for hordes and human sized elite kills should be fed to your psyker. Maybe you can try tac axe with brutal momentum for horde clear + boltgun for crusher kills
@Yobiraion crazy enough, I am using mk2 for the all overhead move set. It's pretty damn strong for Crushers/Maulers etc. Still using brutal momentum but can swap it out realistically. Purgation Flamer as usual still just insanely good for horde clear. Overall it seems to be working pretty well. Hoping for more assassin weapons this year, we have an event coming mid January anyway.
haha yeah, tbh i've played so many games that my gut feeling was already telling me i'm not gonna make it but had to try. i'm quite stubborn sometimes :P
I recommend trying Flesh Tearer + Uncanny Strike on the knife, you don't need crit chance perks on either weapons considering knife has passive +15% crit chance and on top of Blazing Piety and other passives you're totaling 15+25+0-30 crit chance on it. I usually run Flak + Unyielding on my Flamer and Carapace + Unyielding on my Knife. Besides that I run a very similar build! I just take away Holy Revenant alongside Ecc. Call and grab Sustained Assault + Melee Damage node with those two points for a hefty +25% melee damage. Really comes down to preference however :P
Dump stats are also quite quirky on these two. You can actually dump Penetration on the knife since you're running Uncanny Strike, although usually the dump is Mobility. Flamer is either Mobility or Damage, as most of the Flamers damage comes entirely from the DOT :D
true, i sometimes change riposte for other blessings (i think it's stated in the guide description), My role as a chorus zealot in this particular build is to refresh my CD as often as possible. A lot of damage min-maxing is sacrificed in the process. I appreciate the feedback :)
I got to 40 easy on my Ogryn because I know how to play Ogryn, but can’t for the life of me figure out the other classes. I’ve considered my teammates as the problem but it’s definitely not them. I know the builds for zealot but never seem to know what to do. If I dive back line shooters I die from bullets elsewhere. And, when I just try staying with the team they can’t push out. Don’t even get me started on veteran and psyker.
Hmm, not sure if this helps but here are 4 ways to get yourself to melee as a zealot: 1) try practicing your sliding timings and at the same time don't slide towards shooters in a 100% straight line. Instead, slide slightly sideways towards them. AFAIK you get better immunity-frames. Then, on top of that, try mixing sliding from cover to cover while approaching a group of shooters. 2) Figure out how far your Fury of the Faithful (charge) can get you if you don't interrupt it. "Aim" a ranged elite with your cursor and charge. If you don't click any buttons you'll soon figure out you can charge through a really big distance. You can now mix 1 & 2 together for better results. 3) Use your ranged weapon to suppress ranged enemies. Everyone seems to neglect that but shooters and gunners duck and cover if you shoot at them with a high suppression weapon. 4) Cheese your way to melee by using something like this: th-cam.com/video/NJC5NG86cAA/w-d-xo.html
Hey man, great video. Can you link a download to your holier_revenant mod ? mine stoped working for some reason and the one i nnexus mod dont eork for me, i must be doing something wrong.
hey friend! I can't remember doing something special with my mod. I just use this www.nexusmods.com/warhammer40kdarktide/mods/72 Did you check "in-game" if you disabled it through "mod options"?
@@Zopporillo it's typical but also ok. At the end of the day, I might not be doing everything in the most optimal way but.. hey.. I still clutch and save the game :D

O, that's the build i use, only i suck and didn't try the knife on it.
I found the knife to be the fastest way to refresh my Chorus + good for bosses + excellent mobility for situations like this :D

Chained heavy attacks with dagger are better than sliding for movement speed
I do both. it's muscle memory. when I have to clutch my brain focuses on the strategy and everything else is on auto-pilot / muscle-memory :P
@@Yobiraion I once had people spectating the game 50% of a match and they giving me advices how to stay alive or preserve ammo lol
