Story 1 is absolutely terrifying and waking up in a basement is one of my greatest fears. It's also why you NEVER accept drinks from someone you hardly know.
Story 1 straight up reminded me of Hostel.
Well he wasn't the one serving the drinks which makes your comment irrelevant. They were at a bar ordering drinks and getting the drinks from the bartender.

I always love when the person in the story calls their parents and the parents are like WTF ARE YOU DOING WHY ARE YOU CALLING ME! CALL THE COPS!! 🤦🏻♂️ 😂
I was laughing about that too! When he got to the part about his dad telling him he should call the police instead of calling him I said out loud, "Duhhh!!". 😂 I mean, geez, I thought that was just a given!😆

in their defense, as someone who’s been in a situation like that, you’d be surprised at how logic doesn’t come through when you’re in panic mode. at that moment all you want to do is see your parents and feel safe again, lol!!

We all know what it means when the woods suddenly goes quiet. That a predator is near by, and should leave. It's what I would do, if I were in a similar situation

Story 1 is one of the most horrifying stories I’ve heard all year. Story 2 is straight out terrifying
First story gave me so much anxiety, because as a woman, that is literally the worst case scenario to happen if you’re out drinking with someone. I’m really glad that the person made it out okay and hopefully their case can actually end up with James being put away and not given any chance to try that again.

She made every possible bad decision in a row. Just don't go somewhere alone with someone you just met and definitely don't drink from a cup that's left unattended. Seems like the most basic precautions you could take.

Last story pissed me off so much. He broke two core rules that I think everyone should know.
1. Most importantly, *if someone is 'injured' and refuses 911, they are not injured.*
2. If you are threatened in any way, shape, or form, you call 911. You don't call your friend, you don't call your parent, you call 911. In the time it takes for 911 to get there, you'd usually wish the cops had been there sooner.
Don't mean to seem like that guy and I'm sure adrenaline and the like plays a factor but those are key rules of safety.
I'm 33 and I still remember my parents taught me to guard my drink. If I had to leave it unattended, don't drink anymore of it when I came back &/or order a new one.
The 1st story is horrifying. Stories like this and watching the movie Hostel make me a bit paranoid and very aware when I go out. I rarely accept what my friends offer me, much less a stranger offering me something.

Story two sounds like the "panic in the woods" phenomenon to me honestly with how everything went silent and he heard a high pitched noise and then the creature coming shortly after

I think the scariest part of Story 1 besides the obvious waking up somewhere unknown and not knowing how much time went by or what happened is the fact that he was waiting in a dark room for him to wake up and try to leave. Thats very unsettling someone sitting in a dark room waiting for you to come to. You shouldn’t drink from anything you didnt see opened or open yourself or see poured (at the bar).

Friendly reminder to always keep an eye on your drink, chug it if you have to go to the bathroom, if new one was ordered while you were away then just decline. Its common courtesy to order drinks for people that are present if the relation ain’t close

The first story sounds exactly like the government when it cares for you and takes everything away from you for your safety.
ONCE AGAIN, the good times are automatically in play the moment Mr Nightmare uploads a new video, and this example's a damn good one. Summer may be over, but there is always next year for it. Stories like Story 1 are one of the many things that make me very glad that I don't go to bars and I don't drink alcohol. It's just too easy to be preyed on when you're inebriated and the world is full of predators.
Trying to impress or at least not look weak got be one of the most common ways to get into deep shit, that last story almost had me screaming "No one can be this stupid" at the screen, both of them were pretty dumb which is rare since women tend to be way more careful than that.

story number 1 scares me so bad. This is why you should always be careful when accepting drinks from someone else and and monitor the drinks and if something seems like a red flag. LEAVE! I was getting to the end of the story where the guy was in that basement area and attacked the guy when I got a tornado warning on my phone 11:30pm at night then sirens went off. I quickly flicked off my phone and brought my animals to my neighbors basement goosebumps all over me actually scared from the story and now this, It’s a real thrill!
I was wondering when Mr.Nightmare was gonna post again and seeing this made my day brighter
The first story made me think of Robert Berdella, a serial killer in the 80s whose victims were young men. He was incredibly sadistic. A book I read about Berdella cured me of the habit of reading about serial killers. Now I just watch Mr. Nightmare videos where most victims live to tell the tale (and some are obviously bullshit, but still good scary fun).
