What exactly is an urban doom loop? Is it a real thing, and is it occurring in Boston? In this video I wanted to explain the urban doom loop phenomenon and the fallout from depreciating office real estate in Boston.
Relevant to this video (which was recorded days ago): Mayor Wu JUST announced a hike in commercial tax rates. An effort to soften the blow from falling office values.
All this being said, I believe Boston is poised for growth, more-so than other large metros.
