Major respect for such an intimate and vulnerable performance. There were some hiccups and pitch accuracy issues, but even then you can't expect the voice to stay the same.
I think his talent as a singer-songwriter is completely underestimated. Even though he's a good composer behind hit songs such as Umbrella, Single Ladies, etc., he's also a great contemporary R&B singer. His 2007 debut album 'Love/Hate' is a masterpiece concept album, especially the song cycle from the 1st to the 6th track.
I always think of this friend of mine from middle school when I hear I Luv Your Girl. It's one of those special songs that remind me of a time. He would always sing along to it haha
