The people in the first story are without a doubt city folk. The impression of people living in a rural area, the over reliance on gps, never haven taken a long road trip ...yep city folks, probably upper middle class city folk. Lol I grew up in a poor rural community and I still prefer using an actual map to a GPS (keep a rand McNally atlas in my glove box) and know most rural folk are good people as long as you treat them with respect.

They’re straight up privileged and the fact that they spent 3 minutes expressing how the well-to-do house they have is driving them nuts is ridiculous.

1:35 I was indeed laughing when you said “rural”, but not because of different opinions about Texas! Your accent :) when you called it “rural-rural” it sounded like “WOO-woo woo-woo,”
Exactly the charm that makes us like listening to the sound of your voice!

It's interesting in story 1 that they draw similarity to mounds in Africa as opposed to kahokia or the anasazi which are much more local 😅

To the content creator or any viewer who might know i have a question
Im just curious now, this is no criticism i promise just wondering. Ive hears several or more channels like this narrated by British accented folks. Im curious if this content creator and or the others are scripting out the stories theyre getting or re writing them to a degree? The reason i ask is because, im still listenjng to the first story though quite a way through it, and as ive heard in other British accented channels like this, words that are basically never used by American English speakers, especially as in this case , someone from the midwest in texas. Its my dream to live in England ive been many times have many english friends and am am aglophile so im pretty familiar with English rhetoric. These stories taking place in America told by Americans but using moreso British words just has me wondering if theres editing of some kind going on?
Keep up the good work, either way 😉 👍🏻 😊 🇬🇧🇺🇲🤝

It seems obvious that someone from the UK has at minimum re-written the script.

that first story- Like listening to a boring old uncle with dementia raving on. . it puts me off, the rambling uselessness of nine tenths of story. 8 minutes of total crap before they get to the airbnb. I'm aghast you picked this story. 12 minutes. nothing has happened. then it happens- the raving dilutes it and at this point hoping whole boring family gets killed.

First two people are spoiled af. A 5 hour drive is enough to drive them crazy. And they only stopped once and thinks that’s not a healthy amount. Stopping every 2-3 hours is standard for a 5-6 hour drive. Dad getting lost is dumb but the drive itself is nothing and they were only an hour late when they had nothing to do but sit in the car. Privileged.
