Must be lucky.. I bought mine for 14k with 107k miles on it and haven't had one issue with it for 5 years. I haven't been to a shop or had any fails. It's possible to find a good M3 if you look hard enough.
I have a 330i (non-ZHP) and have owned many M3s. I originally bought the 330 to S54 swap but I’m starting to think that the M54B30 needs to stay in this car, it’s the perfect daily driver and a little softer all around, which is nice at times.
Correct me if Im wrong, but I think the reason for the improved steering is due to the different spec rack and pinion component compared to the 330i and M3. I have a ZHP sedan and an M3, both E46s.
what size sway bars do you have on the ZHP? Pleas look at the paint smudge on the driver's side. If you have a purple smudge on the front bar, that's a 24mm and if you have orange in the rear, that's a 20mm. Other than that, you have 23 and 18mm. Thanks in advance.
Never mind brother. I just got to that part on the video where you say that you have the M3 front bar and the Convertible in the rear. Thanks and keep the ZHP.
I am just in the middle of deciding getting a practical, yet I can enjoy daily zhp sedan, vs a childhood dream car in the me. Going to test drive a me this week to see. I think I'll get the zhp at the end!
I pick up my 330 ci second hand MSport geniun, csl wheels 18 from spain imported from Germany 275 000 km, thanks alot for the info vídeo, i bay next Friday for 7500 euros, very good condicions😊

I love my manual ZHP coupe, which I bought for cheap! It's just great experience to drive it everyday!
If one is buying a $10k-15k M3, there is going to be a ton of preventative maintenance that needs done.
Yep exactly!

ZHP steering is superior to the M3, esp the non-ZCP. One of the first modifications I'd do to an M3 is a faster rack from a ZHP or Z4.
I have a 2002 330ci with 294k. You would never know, she's clean and pulls hard.

I’m looking for an M3 now. Red seats 6 speed manual.
Absolutely love both of your cars either would be a dream car for me !
your manual driving style is so much different than mine.
Ive got a sparkling graphite zhp myself!
Would you ever sell on the hunt for one
Do you think a 330ci zhp would make a good first car?
Definitely! Just make sure that you do, or the previous owner did, some of the known maintenance items like the cooling system!
