  • Official music video for "Battle of the Ten Kingdoms of Atlantis" taken from the score to 'The Atlantean'.
In the epic tale of 'The Atlantean,' the fate of the ancient realm of Atlantis intertwines with the technologically advanced reborn Atlantis of the 22nd century, weaving together two distinct eras. The Atlantean explores the cyclical nature of history and the inescapable pull of destiny that bridges the gap between the past and the future.

Indeed, what we find perhaps most fascinating, is that the dates given by Solon for the fall of Atlantis, 9600 or so BC, correspond pretty much exactly with the end of the last ice age... Further to that, the potential Greenland asteroid impact which may have ended the Younger Dryas happened potentially at the same time... One can't know for sure of the connection, but it's certainly interesting to speculate... Hence The Atlantean :)

@@The-Atlantean Plato said it happened roughly 9,000 years before his time, which was roughly 11,500 years from today. That puts it at the last ice age.

Most impressive, the music and also the pictures. They looked a little like taken from a movie about the Illiad. And that is fascinating, because a certain author, Eberhard Zangger, has a theory, that the story of Atlantis might be a corrupted remembrance to the ten year battle of Troy. I know, Plato mentions a time several thousand years earlier, but if read as months instead of years - possibly a mistake from interpetation from the egyptian to the greek language - we get a time around 1200BCE, just as the greek gave to the trojan war.
Anyway, the look would have been a little more archaic, the town and the ships a little bit smaller than we might imagine. But that doesn't take anything away from this video. I really liked it.

Thank you so much for watching and commenting! We love the Illiad, but are basing it more on Platos original description of it being around 9600 BC, which happened to potential coincide with the Greenland meteor which may have ended the last ice age :) :) Thanks again for the feedback, it is very much appreciated!!

Actually, archaelogical excavations have indicated that troy fought at least three wars, probably all of them against the aquean greeks over a period of thirty years 1080~990 bC. I have also read theories that the atlantis was actually a kingdom on the eastern coast of black sea.

The Trojan War is a myth and mythological events. There is no evidence from any reliable sources that it ever happened. And archaeological excavations in Troy (Illion) do not confirm this, but rather the opposite. It is probably based on some small local conflicts between the Greeks and the Hittite state. And nothing more than that.

Thank you also for limiting yourself to the tech level supported by the text, which indicates roughly Bronze Age Mediterranean, rather than crystal power pyramids and telepathic spaceships, as you so often get with depictions of Atlantis. Being the only Bronze Age civilization in a world of Stone Age tribes would still make you a super technology, undefeatable military power.

They were planning to conquer the remaining Mediterranean coast, but were stopped by the army of the city that stood where Athens would much later be founded.
Since the main part of the Azores sank almost immediately afterward (Younger Dryas sea level rise), they were unable to regroup and try again. Some raced homeward to try to salvage what they could, while others migrated east to settle the Black Sea coast.

@@sedaentertainmentthe super high technology they had at the time was sailing ships, chariots, and agriculture. This put them thousands of years developmentally ahead of the rest of the world (who were mostly still in the Stone Age at the time). Their (relatively) super high technology allowed them to conquer much of the Mediterranean and Caribbean. The rest of the world was so covered in thick forests that it was much harder to conquer, so they mostly stuck to coasts and islands.
The idea that they had magic, pyramids, and crystal spaceships derives from Ignatius Donnelly and Edgar Cayce , who wrote in the late nineteenth century. No one before that had ever claimed the Atlanteans had such advancements.
