A good choice I have tried in that model with skeletonized dial and titanium bracelet and it’s a unique looking quality watch. I’m sure in 100 years time it will skill look crazy stylish and modern as it’s so unlike a lot of other mass produced watches. Enjoy in good health.

I think if I were picking a watch for the artwork, that it would be the AP Royal oak time +date only. In full frosted rose gold, the frosted gold just makes the black polished facets stand out even more. Or In a picture with industrial type processes and tooling & sparks flying. I would love to see the Rolex yacht master with the black bezel in white gold.

I would absolutely love an Alange-Soehne Richard Lange Tourbillon for my artwork because it is my HOLY GRAIL WATCH. The way the cut out dial pops out at 6 pm/am and goes back in at 12 am/pm is quintessentially german. It is not just a regular tourbillon. It also has a fusèe and chain mechanism with impeccable finishing. I freakin' love it's complexity.

That's a great choice. I can see why you didn't go for the blue dial Defy, but that's the one I want. I don't own the watch, but I'd love to have a picture of the Grand Seiko SBGH269 (red dial) set against the backdrop of Autumn foilage in Japan (look up Japanese koyo).
I asked which one is more rare. They told me they get less blue dials and I think the look is superb. Still I think the skeletonized is the signature feature and gives personality to this watch. So both are great :)!
Zenith makes a great watch. You have a bunch of beautiful watches and I am extremely jealous. Do you use watch winders? I get different opinions on them and can’t decide whether I should use them. My wife is fed up with my watch addiction and watch art would be a fight.
Hey Rick, currently I am not using a winder. Maybe I will add one in the future but for now it works as I am wearing the explorer nearly all the time :). If you have a nice spot for it at home get one. I think it will look great. I wouldn't be worried about wear of the movement and don't think it shortens the service cycles.

TheDubaiExpat best way to get the Pepsi is to buy your Rolex pieces from one dealer. When you buy your next rolex, kindly ask if they can get you a Pepsi if you buy that Rolex. Usually they can get you one within a year or so. Especially if it’s your 3rd or 4th one.
Should I buy this watch or a datejust from the rolex ad? Im not a huge rolex fan but the idea of owning a rolex at retail price and having a solid investment is tempting. On the other hand, the zenith skeletonized movement is so fucking beautiful. Im torn lol.
