I think western pop music got too comfortable and are just producing low effort music, and this is why I love kpop and especially Red Velvet, they're not afraid to experiment with the songs the visuals and concepts. You may not always like the songs but you'll never get bored. You can also feel the effort and hard work put on their productions and performances.
RV quickly became my favorite group because of their musicality! I love everything they do! They are a special group, among the rest because of this. I have enjoyed discovering K Pop! I'm honestly blown away by how good everything is! And I mean everything! The ladies of these groups are all so talented and beautiful! And the production/marketing behind these great songs and videos are essentially the top of the current industry standard. Thank you for your insights and support! And the duality concept, as they have incorporated in their work! Dually/contrast/synthesis are all parts of much of the Kpop that I have heard, so far. Each group has their own distinct approach, however, and it is an awesome experience to discover them! RV have a very special quality to their sound and style and it's predicated on such incredible delivery and composition. It was truly a delight to hear them! Their style is so very cool! Red Velvet is unlike any other Kpop group. They are always doing the unexpected. Experimental music, concepts, weaponry... The only thing consistent is their unmatched superior VOCALS. Peekaboo, Psycho, Monster, Naughty, One of These Nights, When This Rain Stops, Hello, ......and all the B-sides (all top tier tracks) will keep you glued to Red Velvet.

The thing that makes RV seem creepy in this video is not only their stoic/blank expressionless look but also they don't even blink while singing the song.
