2014 Audi RS4 Insane Straight Pipes Exhaust Sound!

- I went for a ride in a friend's brand new Audi RS4 Avant B8 fitted with a custom straight pipes exhaust, the sound was just unbelievable! First you get to hear a series of brutal revs from the 4.2L V8 then we go for a drive in the tunnels, I've never heard such an insane sound like that from an Audi!

Absolutely PERFECT. A car can't sound much better... at least an affordable car.
Um... Supra, 156 GTA, M3, C63 AMG, and Viper, are all very affordable cars, all sounding better.

When you hear it coming, basically means move out the way.
Unless you're in a AMG or M car, then you should just stay where you are because Audi R cars have always been and still are the slowest of the Germans.

Marc Rivera The GTI is NOT faster than the RS4, get the known facts and figures correct. You must be in dreamland or sniffed too much paint thinner.
Unless your thinking of the newer golf R and even that was 5.4 compared with a 05 RS4 claimed 4.3. The regular Golf GTI with a DSG box was claimed of 6.5.

Soprano313 First of all, I am BMW fan, owned one Audi before, and again bimmer before that. It takes skill and balls to master quattro, and technique of driving 4wd fast, because if you don't it will understeer a lot. And for the power, they are all similar, s4/335is rs4/m3 s6/550i rs6/m5 rs7/m6, and so on... Yes bmw is somewhat lighter and more agile, while audi is more practical and all season runner. And yeah, Benz, I don't like it at all.

Is this the HMS Exhaust? A friend of mine also has this B8 RS4 and installed the HMS exhaust on his a few days ago and it sounds just like this. I got to rev it and sounds AMAZING, just like this one

+Brian O'Connor More than likely a rev-limiter. So it is cutting the fuel off to protect the engine from over-rev.

Rain X is awesome almost like its not raining at all. , I never use my wipers especially on the highway where the speed allows the rain to just roll off, Wipers on can be very distracting.
