MC Ren deserves his recognition, after Cube left, he wrote all of Efil4zaggin and a lot of Straight Outta Compton. He was such a great lyricist. He literally killed it on both of his verses. I feel like he doesn’t get the credit he deserves, he plays a huge contribution to why NWA was successful.

Nowadays it’s all commercial shit & rappers talking about things & doing things to please governments etc & saying stuff they think people want to hear...
These real mutha fukin G’s spoke the truth & it was raw & original and about real life experiences & sharing it with the world & exposing the government & police for what they actually were & they didn’t care of repercussions or nothing...
Look when feds told them not to perform F the police at their show 😂 that went well & they listened to them. Soon as they got on stage cube exposed that right away & said fuck that lets go n they smashed it zero fucks given 👊🏻💪🏻 bring bsck these guys just a shame they ever fell out ☹️☹️☹️☹️

This Album is the most violent, ignant, mysogonist record ever! It was even too much for 1991. Thats why Ren doesnt get the credit for the masterpieces he performed and wrote. However Dre production was going straight pre chronic.

The lyrics were much more raw when cube left and Ren took over. Cube was saving the raw shit for his solo career. This album was my favorite NWA album. Ren solicited west coast gangsta rap fully with this album. Dre used that whole recipe to make The Chronic later. Them and Comptons Most Wanted really brought a west coast sound that I miss

The beats for this song was ahead of its time. This sounds like Dre's later work like 2001, but came out in '92, and it doesn't have that same flovor as The Chronic, ol' skool shit, but more of late 90s early 2000s style. Again, way ahead of its time!
Dre and alot of the west coast producers= kings of music making.
