Sometimes I wish I was there to experience this song at its peak. So many amazing artists from this era are either dead, retired or forgotten about today, and growing up my dad would tell me stories about hiphop/rap groups he'd see live that have since disbanded. Such a great era music will never be able to top.
I grew up during this era of rap, was maybe 14 or 15 when this song came out. Drugs and gang violence plagued the streets of nearly every major city and if you didn't live in the city drugs were still destroying black communities every where. To top things off the AIDS virus was so bad it felt like you saw a commercial promoting safe sex every commercial break on television. In the song they talk about the peace treaty because gang violence was at its all time high, so many young black males who died to the streets. A great time to grow up as a kid for as long as you could avoid everything mentioned above. However I would not promote the lifestyle associated with the rap industry at the time.
I remember waiting in line to buy this tape and I also remember waiting in line to buy the Doggystyle tape and I also remember waiting in line for the Chronic tape. It was amazing back then. Loved them all. Great music

Sometimes I wish I was there to experience this song at its peak. So many amazing artists from this era are either dead, retired or forgotten about today, and growing up my dad would tell me stories about hiphop/rap groups he'd see live that have since disbanded. Such a great era music will never be able to top.
@Tableú what is wrong wite you ? i mean why you Thing they are burning in hellfire
@Tableú The fucks wrong with you?
@Tableú you are the reason why people hate Christians.you'll burn one day too bro, You and your bastard son of a prophet.
