I used to see Guy's mom all the time at Curley's up here in Humboldt County. He comes from really kind people and helps out the people of Nor-Cal when he can. He's a good Dude!
When the horror of the Paradise CA Camp Fire hit us, we were given no warning and had to flee our beloved community with nothing Guy showed up in Chico and helped to feed us and lift our spirits. Haters be damned. I have great respect and love for Guy and his family.
I personally love his DDD food show. I think he is very personable and has a kind and giving heart. I have gone to several of the dives that he has visited and taped on the food network. Our experience in those dives were great just like he said. I would love to meet him. Maybe some day!!! But until then I will continue viewing his program on the food channel. Thank you Guy...

To the point where people who meet him, but don't acknowledge his (undeserving) celebrity are met with his question, "Don't you know who I am?" I prefer grounded, humble people, but to each his own. Also, while his giving back is good for those who receive it, but it is extremely easy to do when someone is a multimillionaire.
I don't see it as an either- or. They both have very different personalities and both are amazing in their own right. Guy just has that Damned adorable, cute, witty, hilarious, gregarious, overthetop terrific presentation 😄. Bobby, to me is sexy as hell, yum, smack 😋

Yes I know first hand because I used to live out there near there and still have family there. They told me how wonderful guy was!!
