I saw Deadpool & Wolverine in 4DX. I frickin loved it! I can see some people might not like it but im hooked now and want to see every exciting movie in 4DX now 😃
@amunderwood21 I try to go only to the Matinee shows. Where im at its the 1st 2 showings of the day. $24.50 for Matinee and i believe i paid $32 regular price. Im in NYC
Saw JURASSIC WORLD and soon TWISTERS via 4D Regal theater at Gateway in Austin, TX - LOVED EVERY MINUTE!! Cannot wait for the TWISTERS screening. Bringing a windbreaker 💨🌬️🌪️🌪️☮️ Shout out to the staff at Regal Cinema Gateway in Austin!! 💯💯💯
It’s not for everyone as for me, I love it, I’ve seen two movies in 4DX now, Ghostbusters Frozen Empire and Godzilla vs. Kong The New Kingdom and wow. My next movie will be, Civil War. It’s the way to watch a movie. It reminds me of when surround sound got big. Now here we are. It’s like Spider-Man the ride or T2-3D. It’s an experience.
Definitely agree it’s not for everyone but I absolutely LOVE it!!! I saw everyone summer blockbuster last year and had an amazing time!! Definitely doing the same this summer
@@almostrobotics - At almost 50, with lower back issues, ‘twas not my favorite experience 😂. Ordered the tix on Fandango and there was no warning on their site. After the fact, I went to the 4DX page and found multiple reasons why I should NOT have done that. 😆🤦🏼♂️☠️
Genuine question, as someone who hasn't been to a 4DX theater yet (and I'd like to!). Does the "experience" of it, at any point, start to take away from what's actually happening in the movie? Essentially, is it distracting? Between THIS special effect and THAT special effect, seats rattling and water being sprayed in your face, I feel like it would start to become about what cool thing is happening around you in the theater instead of how is this further immersing you into what's on screen. But I don't know.
I saw Jurassic World dominion in 4dx, two years ago and the experience was awesome. Everything was moving and is hectic. The movie imo is not great but the 4dx did help to amplify the experience. I’m going to watch twisters in 4dx next and it looks like it’s going to be very chaotic and intense. I just hope that the movie, this time around is good and enjoyable alongside with 4dx. Don’t want another Jurassic world type of situation again.
@@walterwhite1 Update. I watched twisters in 4dx and also in my last comment I said, I was gonna watch it. It was awesome and insane, nearly fell off the seat couple of times
I watched Dune 2 in 4DX in North Hollywood, CA and had no idea I had bought 4DX tickets. It was awful. Couldn't concentrate on what was going on. Never again.
I would Love a list of everything going to 4DX this year!
GREAT experience! It’s like a roller coaster 🥰
It's definitely the future, I still remember the first time I tried it in 2008

Me too I’m watching twisters in 4dx as well
Do they recline? Asking cause I’ve only done DBOX at a Cinemark and they did lol
Twisters in Times Square 4DX was phenomenal!
4DX is a nice place, was there last weekend, and it's Soo cool watching movies over there

I hated every moment lol my kids loved it
Yep same I prefer 4dx over this :)
Just watched Godzilla x Kong in 4DX tonight. Felt like 2 hours on an old wooden roller coaster
I'm confused on if you think it's a pleasant or bad experience 😂

It's fun for a few minutes then gets annoying. No one wants to be jerked around for 2 hours str8 lol. It's worth experiencing at least once
I loved every minute of it. I just watched Deadpool and Wolverine

Funny people are barely discovering 4dx when it's been out for years 😂😂😂
4DX a cool niche. But only certain movies imo can utilize it. E.g., Twister (1996) and Twisters (2024).
This is fun for the first 15 minutes then gets annoying when your trying to settle in and watch a movie
Add vr...
its okay I prefer 4dx movie then this :)
I hated every min of it !!!! It’s not for everyone my kids loved it tho!!!
To strong effects!!! Less is more. The effects ate up like 50% of the movie experience. This is a thempark ride, not a movie effect!
Not for me....just bring back CINERAMA and forget the gimmicks!
