A great ride round the kind of roads I prefer. Agree that riding the lanes at a relaxed pace is far more enjoyable than racing up & down the big A roads. Don’t know that area very well, although just a few weeks ago after having a brew at Fairholmes went up past the Strines pub & on Mortimer Road into Deepcar I think.

Enjoyed your video like you I like the roads less travled. I spend a lot of time n Yorkshire moors and love Lincolnshire looking and taking photos of some of the old churches I have a Enfield intersepter and love every adventure . Keep up ur videos the brilliant 👏 👌
Another lot of beautiful roads in fantastic countryside, Dave; I'm envious. Thank you for riding and posting them for me to enjoy, looking over your shoulder. That they are so close to major cities is a source of amazement to us colonials, particularly here in West Oz, where we have to ride for hours to get to something even vaguely similar. I was really surprised too that the tiny lane (Wheel Lane) had white paint down both sides; that certainly wouldn't happen here in Oz, where, in all probability, it'd be a dirt road!
Yes it is a good view from Woodhead Rd, Try the views from Hartcliff Hill Rd, Mossley Rd and Cranberry Rd above Penistone, but before going look up RAF Wortley as that was a huge bomb storage area in WW11 and there are photos of stacks of huge bombs just along the roadside.

@@thatblokeonamotorbike I managed a ride upto Bradfield though I got as far as the ice cream van and watched a bit of cricket then up past the Old Horns Pub and onto Mortimer Rd and back to the Yorkshire Bridge and back home via Hathersage I did’nt leave home whilst 4.30 due to family stuff but a great 3 hours out on the Enfield
Lovely video. I’ve been out to Fairholmes today on my Enfield Hunter, a fantastic ride. I think the free parking for motorcycles has gone, at least I didn’t see it. I wasn’t going to pay £3.50 to park, so I went up to the llama farm at Ringinglow for a coffee. I would recommend it!

Another smashing ride Dave, As you will have seen when you pulled into the car park, they've ruined it for bikes, there used to be a clear area on the left as you pulled in, just past the cafe. Now they've made it into extra car parking spaces, Used to be able to guarantee at least half a dozen bikers there to have a chat with, last few visits, I've been the only one! Funny to think, that this time last year you could just about walk across the reservoir as it was so dry, different story with this year's "summer" Stay safe, Dave, and thanks for the vids.

Hi Paul, thanks for subscribing, I use the GoPro Hero 11 mounted on the side of the helmet with the GoPro mount. The official mounts are more expensive than some you can get on Amazon, but they are definitely worth it. The build quality is much better, and with £350 worth of camera I feel more confident. West Aussie here. I live near the Perth Hills and there is a pretty good riding there for my Classic 350.
@@freeman10000 Takes me at least 45 minutes just to get to the hills...That's better than it used to be; I lived about 5 hours away!
