I'm sure a lot of people could use R-Tronic parts for their systems so definitely hold them for resale if you have the space! Nice video - I had an R-tronic 08 car, and have been following John's cars since I saw his green R8 with the McLaren seats he put in. Curious what the cost of this conersion is for you in the end, as it would be tempting to scoop up another "unwanted" r-tronic car, to convert over to a stick for hopefully less than the cost of a stick car.
@@davidborga952 Shift tower has nothing to do with it as cables connect to the shifter assembly in the car and on top of the transmission which lock into the shifter forks in the transmission. Everything seems more beefier on the r-tronic. I guess it’s like that because the r-tronic shifts so much harder.

Couldnt you left the old shift forks from the e tronic?
No, the shift rods are smaller in diameter compared to the r-tronic ones.
