One of my favorite moments is before ALL THAT... It's when Phoebe leaves Monica's apartment because she thinks she's a control freak, and Monica asks Chandler if there's something wrong with her because she doesn't have a boyfriend and Phoebe left her... And Chandler tells her she's amazing, beautiful and perfect. And they hug it out.

What i love so much about monica and chandlers relationship is how they were bestfriends at first and turned into a happy married couple. And its so cute how all those episodes they were normally seeing each other as friends having no idea they are gonna end up together. Usually its a risk to date ur bestfriend but if it works out (like monica and chandler)it will definitely be the best marriage bcuz its having a bestfriend for a lover :')

Ever since I do reruns of Friends, I came to realize that maybe, deep inside, Chandler was always in love with Monica. Probably Monica was in love with him as well if we keep in mind all those flashback episodes. For instance, the fact that Monica decided to be a chef because Chandler told her to do so.
Idk, I like to think they were always in love but never realized until that trip to London when they started thinking: "well, who knows? Maybe dating this friend of mine who lives across the hall is not such a bad idea". Anyway, this might be the greatest TV couple ever.

One of my favorite moments was when Monica was talking about babies to her mother and she got emotional, so Chandler pretended the call got cut off by static and wrapped her in a hug.

I know ross and Rachel r d central love interests of the show but I feel chandler nd Monica had a far romantic love story and a realistic one..
I recently discovered the show and, honestly, I don't even think Ross and Rachel are that central. Seriously. I mean, sure, they have their moment for the first few seasons and all, but after their break-up, they rarely ever act as if they have feelings for each other or anything, they are just friends who are also exes. Except for a few episodes here and there who try to remind us that they do have feelings for each other, but those are kinda rare.
Truly, once Chandler and Monica starts, they are the real central couple on the show.

I'd like to thank TPTB of Friends for creating the coupling of Monica and Chandler for not only bring these characters together unexpectedly but so brilliantly but also for having the foresight that with the numerous obstacles that they had in their relationship (namely Richard who was also great for Monica), they would stay together til the end of the series without the many or any break ups that not only Ross and Rachel had to endure but so many other tv couples around.
It's a rarity for any category of tv shows and I'm appreciated that we got it in a tv show like Friends.
Monica and Chandler were the show's best couple and its saving grace because the back and forth between Ross and Rachel would not be enough to keep the show going for ten years. Also, I loved that they never broke up but still had problems to work through.

This list is a bit too obvious. My favorite of their moments are the subtler smaller ones. Two particular favorites: when Chandler tries to get out of exercising with Monica so he starts to talk about her repressed insecurities to get her to calm down and go to sleep as he gently covers her with a blanket and waltzes into his own room, and the one where Chandler comes to her apartment at night because he's too distressed from Joey and Katie having sex asking to sleep on their couch and they just hug and walk together. Those moments were a perfect show of how well they know, understand, and care each other, and they made me root for the idea of them getting together long before London happened.

I don't care what anyone says, Monica and Chandler are THE Friends couple. One of my favourite moments is at the end of the series when the crew is in Barbados for Ross' keynote speech. Monica and Mike go head to head in ping pong and Monica hurts her hand, thereby rendered unable to play. Knowing her extreme competitive side can't handle the embarrassment of forfeiting, Chandler steps in to defend his wife's 'honour' and wins the game for her. Such a simple and brushed off moment, but I swoon a little inside any time Chandler comes to Monica's defence like that
