It does get crowded. The shuttles, however, manage the crowds reasonably well. You gotta get up early for the hikes. Lotsa restaurants in Springdale, so we always found food without an issue. Now that we’ve been there in summer, our next visit will be in winter! We’ll miss the crowds then! Thanks for the comment.
Loved the video!! I am going to be in Zion on the Friday of memorial day weekend (EEK). What time do you recommend me arriving in the visitors centre parking lot to get a spot?? First shuttle leaves at 7:00am
This is very helpful, we will be visiting Zion and Bryce this spring break. We will hike the narrow and then the scout's lookout, i would like to know if we can just use the same canyoneering shoes (will be renting from zionoutfitter) to hike the lookout. thanks.
We are so happy to be helpful. As far as the canyoneering boots, I would not recommend them for Scouts Lookout. They are best in the water, but not as comfortable for dry land that is mostly paved. Comfortable hiking boots or grippy athletic shoes would be better. Thanks for commenting.
All the videos I watch keep saying, do this early, avoid heat of day, full sun, etc... Well, okay, do you just "leave" at 9 am? What I really want to see is a video that says, "these" are the ones you want to hit early, but AFTER that, these are the trails that are less busy and ideal to do in the afternoon.

How cold is the water to hike the Narrows in mid-September? How many degrees? I am from tropical weather and think it might be too cold for me while it's okay for others...

I believe the city shuttles allow strollers, but I can’t speak to the Zion shuttles. You may need to research that a little more. Thanks for your question.
