Hey guys, real quick - I get a ton of comments, emails, messages, etc about this video. I do NOT run this setup any more and haven’t for over a year or so. I run much larger lithium batteries. If I don’t get back to your questions I apologize, but this setup is still somewhat popular and there are a lot of better videos as far as run time/components info. But I do suggest that you skip this option and go straight for a larger lithium situation!

They have a 12 amp hr battery as well. They are amazing. We run our rescue tools on them at the FD. $150 for a battery compared to $700 for the small lithium batteries

Just bought 2, Garmin 93sv . This looks like a great way to get power as close the the unit as possible. Just returned to fishing after a 30 year layoff. Ran across your channel, and really enjoying it. Keep up the good work.

The seelight battery adapter is basically a branded two wire hot wheel DeWalt 20 volt battery adapter. You can pay for the name but DYI people can use Amazon or E-bay to figure it out.

Newbee here with Livescope. I just installed/mounted my system to the exsisting batteries on my boat. Wow, so the depthefinder and blackbox (LV 32 tranduscer) all work off of that 20v Dewalt battrey system?? Awesome to know, changing my setup ASAP. Really appreciate the time you put into informing everyone. Good stuff.

Thanks for doing this video. Not just the livescope install but the special (and generous) way you celebrated your dad's retirement and the special reveal. I admit to having washed my eyeballs just a little bit while watching this family event. I'm probably about the same age as your dad and also recently retired. Unfortunately my son didn't think of doing this for me (but I'll be patient). Maybe I should invite him to watch this video. 😎

I wish I would have thought of this before I bought a battery. Thats pretty slick. You could just go buy a tool get the 2 batteries and a charger then just get the adapter. If your gonna be out a long time you could just bring the second battery. Hell bring an inverter and you could use the dewalt charger to charge the drill batteries off the boat battery.

I am from Quebec Canada. The species we fish
is the speckled trout, the characteristic of this one is that it is held in less than 30 feet. The main technique to catch it is by trolling with a spoon followed by a hook with a worm.
Of course it is quite rare with my Humminbird
Mega Live G2N Si to distinguish these specimens even with the traditional sounder because as soon as one approaches them the shadow of the boat makes them flee immediately. In these circumstances if I acquire a Garmin GPSMAP 1222 with Panoptix Livescope System Touchscreen Chartplotter an investment of 4310 $ Canadian that can give me a certain advantage in the capture of this trout

Your battery you said is a 9AH. Panoptix power specs is 21 Watts typical, 58W max. So at 21W that comes to 1.05AH. Divide 9AH by 1.05AH=8.5 hours just for the panoptix unit...now add the Chartplotter. Just wanted to throw that info, which it looks like your already got it covered. Nice video. I have been using LS for almost 2yrs and my system is a battery operated standalone system
