Just a little tip I learned, next time you need to cut the corn off of the ear of corn, use a bunt pan. Place the end of the ear of corn in the hole and commense cutting it. The bunt pan will not only raise it closer to you making it easier to cut but also catch all the corn you are cutting off. May have a few stray pieces fly off but it does a great job in general.
You can also use an upside down small bowl in a much larger bowl. If you use a plastic small bowl there’s less of a chance of damaging your knife if you hit it.
For the whipped cream dispenser: 1. Use very cold cream. 2. Fill as close to the fill line as you can. One charger is meant to work with a specific amount and won’t work as well with more or less. 3. They won’t explode. Worst case is you’ll get cream & sugar mixture everywhere if the rubber gasket in the lid is missing. It’s messy, but not dangerous. If you accidentally charge it twice, you’ll hear the difference in the “hiss”. It makes weird whipped cream, but still not going to explode. 4. Charge it upside down, then shake vigorously (like making a cocktail) around 15 times. Mixing the powdered sugar was correct, as was removing the used cartridge. You can add flavored syrups instead of powdered sugar as long as you don’t overfill. You can add vanilla or other extracts to the sweetened cream.
My grandma has used these for over 20 years. It also helps if you put the container (just the bottom part) in the freezer for an hour before you fill it. Always have it tipped completely upside down when squirting out the whipped cream. They are great!
So the canister for creams and foams is actually a professional chefs best friend. If you watch master chef or any chefs cooking show you will always spot this there. It's also used to make foams.
You do realize everyone wants to come over and hang out with you and Christopher, right? So if you ever want to make a few million cookies and invite us all over......😜
You should try and add vanilla extract or vanilla beans to the whip cream mixture! There’s also a thing I would LOVE for y’all to review, it’s called the ninja creami! It had all kinds of functions like smoothie bowls to gelato :)

Contact lenses do help when cutting onions! Contact lenses cover the area where most of the nerves of your eyes are, so the irritating chemical produced from the onion doesn’t actually make contact with these nerves at all. I’ve noticed whenever I wear my contacts, I never have irritation when cutting onions.
Maybe it depends on the type of contact lenses? When I wore my contacts, I could cut onions without tears, also sit in the smoke of a campfire with no issues. With my glasses, I cry so much with both!

I did the wet paper towel next to it and it worked for me. Onions usually get me pretty good! Lol. I did have mine pretty wet so maybe that would have been better

Contacts definitely prevent onion crying. I’ve worn contacts every day since I was 16 and I had no idea that they were protecting my eyes. Then I had a baby and wasn’t getting enough sleep and wore my glasses way more often and discovered that they were protecting me in more than one way. They also protect your eyeballs from the heat when you open the oven and look in, too.

Using an upside-down bunt pan & a knife is the best way I've found to cut corn off the cob. You can balance the corn in the center which grips the cob really well & the kernels land in the pan.

Before you start cutting your onion get a SMALL portable fan and turn it on LOW and either point it at the onion you are about to cut or at your own face and you will NEVER cry when cutting an onion 🧅 again. The nice thing is most people already have a fan of some kind in their homes so you don’t have to buy any special glasses 🤓 that you will probably never use for anything else. You can turn the fan on higher if you wish but it’s not needed. Could you PLEASE show this hack on one of your videos? You know, for onions, I peel them and then cut then in half and put it in water for about 5mins and then chop them up. Seems to work for me.
