  • Today I am working on Anatomy for my 12th grader. We are using Guest Hollow's Anatomy & Health course for her. If you have been considering a course such as this (literature and activity based vs traditional textbooks), I'll show you how to avoid feeling overwhelmed by the many options and customize the schedule to meet your student's needs/preferences.

I'm also currently planning this GH curriculum. I do my students' schedules in Evernote and just c & p the links from the G&H Word schedule document into their schedules. Easy peasy!

Ohh I love the A&P info. We’ll definitely be doing this one soon. I took A&P in college during Covid. Since we weren’t allowed on campus I found some free printable life size skeletons to practice labeling bones, and organs.

I bought the Netter's Anatomy flashcards and loved them. I highly recommend them for college level

Love this video and your enthusiasm.
Do you link the activities by week like you do the videos or do your kids access the activity from the Guest Hollow schedule ?
Thank you so much for sharing!

I tend to link all the videos and activities in the weekly bookmark folders I showed in the video. It just makes it faster for my teens versus opening the schedule and scrolling to find the week they are on. But you can do it either way. This is just what has worked well for us

Do you then share the bookmark file with them to add to their bookmarks on their browser?
      Thank you so much!

    Love this video!! 🍃
Quick question…If you have more than one student doing the same GH course and have only one set of the recommended books for the course, do you just schedule the lesson in opposition - so both kids can complete the same day’s assignment? Thanks! 🌱

My teens just worked on different subjects at different times and then do projects together. With Chem in the Kitchen for example, my daughter would read and do the workbook while my son did Math, and then they would swap. Then they would do the experiments or cooking projects together.

How did you learn how to link videos? I feel very overwhelmed with the tech side of these online programs.

Most internet browsers have something up by the address bar where you can bookmark webpages. I use Firefox which has a little star that I select to bookmark a page or video and then it asks which bookmark folder I want to put it in. It also has a place where I can organize my bookmark folders. That varies depending on which browser you use.
However if you are using a GH curriculum, their schedules all include live links. When you click on a video title it will take you right to that video. You can copy and paste their links into other documents are just have that schedule pulled up and your kids can click right from it to the videos
