13 and I’m still absolutely in love with Yo-Kai I stopped caring for Yo-Kai when Wibble Wobble shut down and after the new main character appeared, but I’m trying to watch every series to understand what has happened and I’m happy that on shadow side they actually fight instead of trying to be funny

Personally, I’m not a huge fan of Shadowside. I’m afraid it will replace the old series that I knew. But I guess the watch looks pretty cool, and I will be getting Yo Kai Watch for the Switch, but besides that, I’m really sad the old series is gone.
I’m completely new to the series. Isn’t it like pokemon where old Pokemon can still come back in future games or has the whole franchise had a soft reset?

it was always canon nate like katie and Katie liked nate that's why they got married in yo kai watch shadowside which is continuation of yokai watch 3 in 2040 they ad two kids nature amano and keisuke amano. keisuke is 11 and natsume is 13.

The reason Jibanyan sounds different is because he is actually older in Yo-Kai Watch Shadowside.
@johneawesome This was a great Yokai watch "Dream" review (I know it's the Elder but at the end you called it a dream review).
At the end of the Yo-Kai Watch Forever Friends trailer I think what I believe is Whisper 2040 Lightside was shown with Nekomata.

Looks like I'm in a good enough mood. Seriously, I don't like the dark turn Yo-kai Watch is heading since the Shadowside prequel movie, but the Elda Watch and Ark gimmicks are pretty interesting. I want more love to Blizzaria now that she's all grown up...

i think its a missed opportunity they cant scan old yc chipped medals. they also could have made the 1s steries of arks (keys) a bit easier to complete only 15 in the set and with 1 box you generally end up with 8 new ones, and the second box maybe 2 or 3 new ones if you are lucky still leaving you with 4 left (including legendary) so a very hard 1st chapter to complete.

I may have missed this in the video but I have to ask, where did you get that!? I tried EBay, Amazon, HobbyLink Japan, Nothing! This honestly looks like one of the coolest versions of the watch and I can’t find it!

no it's just for fun watch the full video then you will understand he has made other yo kai watch unboxing videos there are 5 types of watches and it us sort of like collecting it.

I'll be honest, I'm still not completely sold on Shadowside.
I get that it takes place 30 years in the future, so of course things would be different from the original Yo-Kai Watch.
But at the same time... There's some contradictions to that.
Robonyan being the most specific example.
Plus from what I've seen, the human world is mostly unchanged, which is weird.
But then again, I'm a bit bias. I /loved/ the Yo-Kai Watch Dream Model, and I'm always just put off when they change Hugramps around, since we knew his tragic tale.
