I don't think it's an ugly car. Porsche's got a design style of its own.
I used to hate the Panamera when it came out, but if I was looking for a big 4 seater I'd buy one. Looks have really grown on me and driving dynamics are miles ahead of usual German limos.

It's nice watching him since 2012.
I've always loved the shape of this car, it's like the traditional 911 up front but a sedan and that nice roof slope, man such a nice car.

At first, i didn't like it, but seeing it in person just changed my mind. I simply love the bulky muscle and the wide sporty look it has. Very unique look, different from Audi, Merc and BMW who use similar lines and style.

With the sport design body kit and a few other things put externally you can radically change how the car looks specially the bulb like rear! Second the three spoke steering wheel is for the PDK it has proper shift paddles the multifunction steering wheel is for the manual gearbox and it doesn't have those shifters on it when used on that gearbox! There are some tweaks and careful choices with options but most complaints people have with the car can be addressed!

to be honest, i like having more buttons in a car as well; my mom and stepdad recently bought a used a6 and while it is really nice inside, i can't get away from the fact that being able to adjust the fan, or heater or radio in my 2000 M class is just a button, or wheel turn away. And also being an actual button, you don't have to spend time watching a screen, when you should be watching the road

Haven’t heard a bad word about these. I had a 914 and a 928S4 in the past and loved them. Looks like I’ve found our next car. Used….

Pontiac Aztek? Nissan JUke? Yugo? Reliant Robin? BMW Isetta? I think you need to get your eyes checked. In person, this car is absolutely stunning. I see them very often where I live, and they are fantastic cars.

Which Panamera engine has proven to be more reliable with the least issues to worry about?

Interesting design fact, the reason the rear end is perhaps a bit unshapely, is because the CEO of porsche stated that he HAD to fit comfortably in the back, and he's about 6"5
@Marcinex22 you mean its on the "right" side? lol In UK, Australia, Most of Asia, and Central America their steering is on the right. But these cars do come in left-hand steering as well
@datboiwes333 dude, have you seen this one in person? It is really big and wide, totaly diffrent from what you see in video or pictures.

What car does mat drive?
I was the owner of a Porsche 928 back in the day. Then as well as now the Porsche "purists" were disapproving of the styling, some even to the point of getting irrationally and emotionally nasty about it. I like the Panamera's styling and can understand those who don't. The car has so many other great features about it.
For every person who disapproves of the Panamera's styling there is another one who likes it. I'd say that means the beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
@AL5M3LI they do that with other models like the chayenne... it's a nice touch
im in the USA so idk about english cars but is the key on the right on purpose porsche is known for their keys to be on the left???
Is the Panamera better handling than Mazda 6? I can't decide which to buy
If the rear hatch was more like the one on the cls, with a more distinct separation between the rear glass and bodywork the car would look much better

close, about $75-76K. My friend's dad's costs $97K base though. Gorgeous car.
I own a 2016 and love it. Maintenance is super expensive and Porsche cheaped out on the ugly plastic steering wheel. Performance and comfort is superb. Bought it used with 30k miles for a little over $32k.
Do you service your car at Porsche? How much would a normal service roughly cost you?

Nice looking, but the Cadillac CTS-V will run with this at far less coin. The Porsche interior is top-notch; no arguing there.
@250Trojan its amazing how you described yourself in only one word.... let me ask you a question who is the No. 1 car manufacturer in terms of car quality... who's car was among the 20th century best... who? look it up.. search about it and then talk about Porsche... 1977 924's still work perfectly without any needed repairs compared to other manufacturers cars from that time especially American..

@Twsit133 Park it beside an Aston Rapide and a Maserati Quattroporte and give almost anyone their choice of the three. A good 80+% will go for either of the other two. That said, out by itsself, the Porsche does look smooth and is an excellent way to get somewhere fast and comfortably.

I seriously doubt there's anyone that looks at that car (despite how good it is) and thinks: "Right, it's the most beautifull sports 4-door saloon I can buy. I shall do it right now". For God's sake, does Aston Martin or even Maserati ring a bell!
This is a real competitor to the Cayenne in matters of how much sick can you get from someone looking at it...

Do half the circle and then floor it, the powersteer will make it easy!

In the uk cars everything is reversed/mirrored so of course the keys will seem to be in the wrong side. One only needs to look at where the steering wheel and driver exits are...
This car is missing 1 thing: me behind the wheel :)

It's actually not ugly. Its ugly to those who are close minded and can't accept a car that's not a classic 4 door saloon. This car has all the benefits of a saloon with increased practicality because of the 5th door.
Well, the German cars are a class of it´s own...........
