Love the video and the "cheat holes". My Big Byron F-16 would not fly without it. I once added a ducted fan on the top of the fuselage to pump in more air on one of my edf's, but it used up lots of extra battery. This is the best way. Well done boys!
Thanks my friend. I was really wondering if the bird have enough thrust with inlet closed by the baterrie. So I cutted two to see what will happen and I have felt the better thrust immediately. And Iam really impressed that you have Byron F16. We got brand new Rossi engine from our friend Don from USA for Byron ducted planes but we just cant get any bird here to Slovenia. Iam really dreaming that someday I will be able to test DF jet. That would be just amazing. I love EDFs I must say that, but flying jet plane on nitro must be perfect experience... Looks better than when I just jump on top of them. lol. My UMX T-28 wouldnt fly right to save my life. It would go into a spin and crash every time. I suspect it was an electronic issue as the plane would sit for as long as 5 or 6 minutes before it would even initiate. Well, glad that you figured that one out. In the end, sometimes you get a bad plane. You figured out how to make a bad plane a good plane. It doesnt always work like that but awesome! As usual, you two are funny together, typical brothers!
Thanks Robert as always nice job 👍 . I had the same problem when I was to test my small onboard camera on my 2 meter sailplane and the CG was very bad and I had to move the camera in the front . Only 10 grams make the difference in CG for me. Happy Summer vacation 🛩🍗😆

Good flight. It looks like the horizontal tail is tilted slightly to port, which would of course account for it wanting to turn to the left somewhat. I noticed it was like that in the last video as well, prior to the crash(es).

That was just way too funny. Cheat holes? I thought you said 'cheap hoes' used for gardening the mole holes. you guys are the best on RC channel TH-cam and by far have the best view because Slovenia is just beautiful.
Definately it was tail heavy. And in the 2nd video you see the Mig flatspin whilst it stalled into the ground. The nav lights were probably destroying the lift that was being generated around the wing tips, not so much the LED near the vertical stablizer. But at least it flies again. Also it seemed like to me the cheat inlets made it a lot faster? *Salute* from Australian pilots!
Oh yeah Jacen. We can tell now that the lights were to blaim. And I did get some sexi extra thrust with that two cheat holes. Much better and that is something that Freewing should have already done... Cheers my friend, Robert
