Unfortunately there are no guaranties in life. I was married to my Filipina wife for 21 years and she passed away from cancer in Aug 2022. She was 68 at the time. We had a wonderful life together and I will miss her every day. So live your life to the fullest and money does not buy happiness.

Man will give there lives so they can have more of it yet it doesn’t bring happiness, lol! I’m not saying money is a cure all cause it is not. Yet, I can tell you never been broke, and homeless before! It’s one thing being a child and not knowing any better. You see money the same way as others. It’s just a piece of paper. The problem with that thought is you forget what was traded to get that value from the real world. Just because some don’t have to give as much as others doesn’t mean that value is lost. I guess you think money is the root to all evil too! Yet who made the money?!. If man did away with money then what would you say about it then? We would still need those things it provides just to survive. How would you get those things? How are you goin to obtain the land? Saying what you said sound like the victim mindset to me. I had girlfriend get hit by school bus after five years. No it wasn’t a lifetime but we was planing for that. I have had to learn that my happiness doesn’t come from anyone but it does come from something’s. Eating tasty food can make me happy. Traveling can make me happy. See the world, and hiking the mountains make me happy. I can do all these things without money but do you know how difficult that is? I could never get passport or go across the world now days without it. So money might not buy happiness or love etc but it sure does fucking help! Try getting a woman broke and homeless…
      Ps sorry for your loss

If you married a young filipina, you have to prepare for the day you will leave her. By prepare, I mean you should have things set up so that she can maintain a comfortable life after you pass. Whatever you do, don't leave her a lump sum and expect her to use it wisely. Make it like a monthly withdrawal rate as filipinas are notoriously bad with money over and above the daily necessities. I've seen it numerous times where the filipina is left with a lump sum and her first purchase is that new porsche convertible. After 2 years, she's penniless and has to take up a job if she can even find one.

I heard of a similar situation with an age gap like that, and the older man's friends and family expressed concern that having sex with such a young girl at his age could be dangerous. He replied, "If she dies, she dies." Actually, that gives me hope--I'm 75. I have a friend in the UK who got married , for the first time, to a nice woman from Hong Kong when he was 66 and she was 36. They're still together and doing fine about eight or nine years later.

Also spoke to a few of them the other advantage is to have a light skinned baby. So 20 year older guy and white skin high demand. Its just different and hard to accept, but seeing it for yourself will help. Also with the older men, the better you look, the more money, and the better shape of your body will make a big difference.

Gelay On the age gap dating matter I found it very interesting that you and other Filipinas do you not see the “old face” of a foreigner, but see him as exotic regardless of his age. So there is almost an age blindness to westerner appearance?. Therefore The Filipina is free to concentrate on the qualities and financial stability of the man, not his age. Very insightful to an American like me. something I have never Heard before to explain why age gap doesn’t really matter. i’ve watched many Vloggers for years from the Philippines but you are the first to explain this! it is a wonderful thing and I thank you for helping us understand. I have visited Dauin twice now and this insight helps a man be less concerned about his age when looking for a younger Filipina. Great video.

Just 1 correction: The Americans did not "Colonize" the Philippines. The Spanish-American war (1866-1898) ended Spains colonial empire of over 300 years of BRUTAL treatment, massacres' exploitation of wealth ( The Manila Gallions) by Miguel Lopez, de LAGAZPI of Filipinos after Ferdnand MAGELLON was killed at MACTAN ISLAND, Now CEBU. Filipinos had there freedoms restored by The Americans and complete sovereign independence was granted in 1946. The Americans didn't massacre Filipinos during WW2 . It was the IMPERIAL JAPANESE ARMY, That raped, burned, beheaded, and BAYONETTED, women, men & Children ( including babies in diapers) ( look @ historical war photos of the Manila Battle. The Americans never even came close to treating Filipinos as subjects.

My family and friends and whoever is in my inner circle. I don’t know if I could live in the Philippines, more like Vietnam, Malaysia or Thailand. I don’t want to young of a woman and I’m 59, we wouldn’t have much in common and don’t want someone to just be w me for my

Love, caring, loyalty, all fantasy luxuries in the United States. I spoke to Filipinas here in the US, they often are here from marriage. They have told me I am so young and I should be talking to 20 year old women. I am 42. I said, I am old. It's such a culture shock. You mean I don't have to marry a 40 year old with 5 kids? There's hope in the future!

14:44 This mark is AFTER the hostess said her peace on what a Filipina brings to the table, and as an older man, I have to say you hit the nail on the head. The only problem is, I never had kids, but always wanted them. I will need to marry a young 18- to 20-year-old girl who will commit to giving me many children. I was one of six children my parents had together, and they each were one of six, so I had many cousins on both sides of the family. I met my wife when we were both in our 30's, and I told her I wanted children. They never came, and my wife passed away a few years ago of Covid. The dating scene here in the States is a nightmare, and the women are generally not worth the time they demand and not worth the money they think they deserve. What Gelay said spoke to my heart. If she knows a girl in child-bearing age range who is not currently involved with anyone, and preferably never has been, who isn't concerned with the fact that a sixty-year old guy wants to marry her and get her pregnant repeatedly over many happy years. My mother, who currently is in the other room watching reruns of Murder, She Wrote, is in her 80's, so there's no reason I shouldn't be able to watch our oldest children graduate from college, at least, before I die. But the fact is, I am generally healthier now than my mom was at my age, so I should also be healthier at her age now when I get there, if God allows me to.

There is one very big advantage to being with a well established Filipina in the Philippines and that is they have connections in their community most would never see, all my asawa's batchmates are established in the community and many have jobs that are great like doctors/lawyers/judges/teachers/business owners/government employs. This community resource tree when you include their family's reach places you would never believe. She is also from Dumaguete!

It gets cold...but not like Indiana. I would like the Philippines...but would prefer to live part time there and part time in the US. It's just so damn hard for Filipinas (and their kiddos) to travel. Whereas in Columbia it's much easier for women to travel. Still... I would love to visit the Philippines. I was on the phone with "Bela" who said she was working at a call center in Dumaguete. I didn't realize there were phone centers there.

The number one reason is English is spoken in the Philippines. Signs are in English, they drive on the same side of the road. There’s a good relationship with the US because the Philippines used to be an American colony. The climate in the Philippines is an average of 82 degrees Fahrenheit. Has far less to do with woman than it has to do with being able to live well on a fraction of the salary they received while working. Rent for a 2 br apt is normally under 200 dollars per month, lights are under 60 usd and water is about 6 usd per month. For me these are very good reasons to choose the Philippines if you’re retired.

As guys, our first thing we look for is her looks, then we seek a good personality after. Now, you have to spend time with your girlfriend, build that trust, take it slow. Once you know, you’ll know. Trust your gut and you can weed out the true gold diggers. Treat her right, she will treat you right.

It's not as cheap to live well there as some people would think. You can live real poor easily, but many things (computers, phone, appliances) will cost even more over there. So, now I'm hearing that prices of goods such as refrigerators, freezers (if available), computers, laptops, smartphones, i-phones, cars, etc., etc., etc., are all going to be MORE (?) expensive?
Next, you're going to be telling me that my future sweet, young Filipina's sister(s), brother(s), mother, estranged father, gramma(s), gampa(s), cousins, aunt(s), uncle(s), and best friend will need an extra $10 or $20 a month EACH to help out with daily expenses.
