Asalamu'alaikum waramatu'llah wa'barkatuhu brothers and sisters Am going from Austria Europe, and I will be landing in jeddah Airport. Do I need to put on my white cloth before landing jedda? Or I need to put on my white cloth after landing and make my intension and start going to makkah?
Wa Alaikumussalaam Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakaathuhu, Dear Sani, 1) You must wear the Ihram prior to landing (last cut off limit 15mins before landing in Jeddah) - you may wear at your departure airport or even at home. 2) But, you must make intention before landing at the cut off point (meeqaat) for those landing in Jeddah - is 15mins before landing, as mentioned above. I hope this helps. May Allah acceot your intentions and make your Umrah easy. Ameen!!
