Hi, Ms. O! That French onion soup pot roast looks amazing! I have never cooked with canned French onion soup (I just use onion soup mix), but I will have to try it. I like that you seasoned the meat well, and also that you added multiple bay leaves. Bay leaves are a secret in many things, I think. I would not have thought about making a sandwich with bread, but that looks great. I like a lot of sauce, too. Thanks for a great recipe!
Thank you for the great idea about mixing all the seasonings in a bowl! So glad I found you. Update: OK it's in my oven now. I was out of Canola so I used Saffron instead. Otherwise, I followed your recipe to the T. My house smells heavenly! I'll let you know. Oh my goodness gracious! It is to die for! Absolutely fabulous! My son says it's the best I've ever made.
