Anyone who claims that Pink Floyd was weak (especially lyrically) without Roger Waters has clearly not experienced this piece, as performed here. Mr. Waters is a gifted lyricist, and I am sorry that his childhood was in fact terrible. That said, I don't miss his anger here. David can cover sorrow and regret very clearly

Musically uninteresting/monotone/repetitive, terrible vocals... Listen to this - they are not singing, they are reciting A poem to music! A pale shadow of the Dark Side, or WYWH, or the Wall... Having said that, I don't blame them for parting ways with Waters, who is.... difficult, to put it mildly. And David Gilmour is an awesome guitarist. All this is of course just one person's opinion, a person who was born in 1961. Forgive me for ruining your admiration party
I always said that Guy is one of the greatest bassists ever but with the "bad luck" that soposses to be in the RW place, waking that non-sense hate by much of the Waters fans.
He totally goes against the grain of standing quietly by the drummer! I love his energy and enthusiasm. He’s fitted so well as a frontman in Saucerful Of Secrets.

No need for a lead break when you’re bass and drummer are pumping out the beat like these guys. The good stuff never gets old it stands the test of time.

I got into Pink Floyd , first hearing “Delicate sound of Thunder “ in early nineties. And seeing the guys play at Earls Court . Quite something, they can certainly play ! God bless “David Gilmour” and Co. He is an awesome , amazing guitarist

Great video and AWESOME work on bringing the lyrics towards the fore. I think it maybe having lived another 33 years since this album came out that helped me to understand what David was putting out there... Damn fine job all around...

Saw both this tour in '87 and Pulse in '94. Still to this day the best concerts ever, with The Wall in 2010 and The Wall Live in Berlin summer of '90. I was stationed in Germany '89-'93 and was fortunate to get to Berlin for the show. Even made it into the video!
