I just found out that the brown hat is molded to clip onto the gremlin's head surprisingly securely. On the inside of the hat, there's a subtle lip that tabs into the back of the head. It only works if it's positioned correctly with the eyebrows lined up with the little grooves. You'll feel and hear a little click if the hat is in the right position and pressed onto the head. It's actually secure enough to stay attached when you hold it just by the hat.

Another splendid review on one more brilliant Gremlin. Actually, I've used the cheaper price per figure of the winter Gremlins to army build and actually make use of the otherwise unused accessories from the ultimate/gamer copies I already had. Now in that case, it was imperative to pop the heads off and get rid of the scarves from the extra winter ones to keep those unique, although I'm thinking of repainting the extra winter clothes to have more variation. For your poker table: If you're not willing to build one, it might be possible to use some puppet furniture, if there's some at least 1/6 scale around. Some say the Gremlins are 1/4 scale, but actually, my feeling is they are rather inbetween, more a 1/5 scale, sometimes making it hard to shop for accessories online, some fit, some don't.
