yay, i hear you - can you believe? i´m german and in the late 70s someone gave me a record with south african jive - at first listen i thought i had the record player on 45, haha - then i realized it was correct on 33 and that it was the music itself, that sounded like it did - at second listen i was already in love, haha... :-) i infected many friends with that music and i even founded a band and we copied this style - it was great fun... i´m 62 now and i also still deeply love this music and the sound - love and best wishes to you from germany
