  • The Hooters Racing video wall is done! The MegaTV is a 20ft diagonal video wall made out of 9 Samsung 75" TVs. This ended up being a huge project with a huge pay off, one of the coolest things I've ever seen. It uses so much power it can trip the breaker on a single circuit, coming in just a tad over 2000 watts. When you're watching or playing racing on it the cars are literally lifesize. There's really no way to describe it other than really, really big.
Huge thank you to Hooters Racing for sponsoring this series. Use promo code "WATCHJRGO" in the mobile app and online for $10 your order (of at least $30)
This works at most but not all Hooters locations

    Common Questions:
What motorcycle do I ride? A few. Ducati 1198, Honda Goldwing, Honda Grom, Honda Ruckus
What do I do for a living? Make TH-cam videos.
Can you wheelie? No, I suck.
Are you fast? Sort of. I suck mostly though.
Where can I keep up with you off the bike?
    Instagram: WatchJRGo
Facebook: WatchJRGo (or JRGo, FB hates my branding)
Do you go to school? College, for 2 classes.
Why do you ride so dangerously? What do mean? I was doing 25.
Do you go to the track? Of course, hopefully there will be videos in the future.
Do you play video games? No, but I might stream N64 Goldeneye at some point. Twitch: WatchJRGo
Are you afraid the police will watch your videos and arrest you? Something something evidence something something warrants and due process of law

John Ross- you need to grab the master hdmi signal and split it over to the Motul loft area where you need to have 2 more big screens on the wall. That way people on the loft can see what’s going on too. (When it gets done!)

A continuous load is defined as a load that is expected to be run 3 hours or more. Your video screen is a continuous load. Circuits for continuous loads must be derated by 20%, so your 20 amp circuit is only good for 16 amps. At 120 volts (nominal), your 16 amp circuit is capable of 1,920 watts max. No surprise that it blew the breaker. An amazing project none the less. Congrats on all your hard work!

Best way to do phase 2 on this build:
Remove the plastic borders on all the tvs, so that way they butt up screen-to-screen. It removes the "window" effect that using multiple screens usually gives off. Once all your tvs are screen-to-screen, you simply cut and bend a nice metal frame to go around all the tvs.
I used to do the "4 TV" builds for Buffalo wild wings lol.
Your build looks fantastic. Just keep in mind everyone is going to point out that the borders are annoying. And there is a way to fix it. Good luck Jr!

My 2 cents on the TH-cam viewer decline. At a time when much of the world was struggling to pay their rent, locked down in their homes. Not allowed to work. The world watched numerous TH-cam channels go on a spending spree. New shops, exotic cars, toys and travel to car shows. While sponsors paid you , The gulf grew wider. Many channels changed from you can do this too, to look at my new toys. While the hard work was evident. I believe that resentment has set in and people are going out to do other activities. Like work. Many were denied this before and now they face financial challenges. Congratulations on your success. I enjoy the content, yet when you give back to someone in need, you endear yourself to all.

I've gotten tired of a lot of car channels that have turned into "look at the new expensive toy I bought today" - which is pretty boring. Also - the sponsored content is a turn off. I stopped watching TV because of the commercials - and many youtube channels are now nothing but disguised commercials. Money ruins everything.

"Many channels changed from you can do this too, to look at my new toys"
Yup, that is why i unsub from a lot of big channels and go for smallers ones. And then i tell the smaller channel to be mindful when growing of what made them grow: The toys, or the content/skills ?
I almost dont want them to grow sometimes, just to have them stay "genuine".
All i want, is "This thing is broken on this car. Were gonna fix it. This is how." and you have my FULL attention.
      Period. The end. Finito.

He needs to hire an editor and a full time camera person or he needs to upload 3 videos per week max. He should also do more cheap car flips like the good old days. Its been so long since Rolls has been on the channel most subs don't even know he has it. There is so many missed opportunities.

It’s crazy how big that wall is that it makes 20 foot of tv not look crazy.

Kind of a strange place for the video wall. I would have put it directly opposite of the lounge/loft so you can see it from up there abd at the same level. Same thing with the sound/light rig.

I thought the same thing. That lift creates an obstructed view. It’s still way cool, but odd placement.

Looks great! A FYI, they make mounts that are specifically made for these applications that allow many adjustments to get your install perfect in a lot less time. They also allow you to pop any TV out for future service or replacement without having to remove others.

That’s so sweet! What an awesome addition to the shop. Not sure how long that video wall processor will last though. I’m guessing 3 months max before it burns out. But that’s just me. Hope it goes forever.
