You can dress it up all you want, truth is numbers are down and the main reason being people can’t afford the prices they are charging for the hotels plus food and drinks, your paying 5 star prices for 3 star hotels.
it is shocking, last year our 4 night holiday in september cost £1200 for 3 of us, full package, all inclusive
This year so far for same week in september is looking at 1600

Great video - sadly the adverse publicity surrounding tourism in both Spain and the islands has stopped us from booking a holiday this year - we normally rotate between Majorca and the main land, but really concerned about the anti - tourist campaign 😢
15 euros for chicken croquets in Follies beach restaurant is an absolute joke, as I said in previous posts Mallorca has had it’s day and now is just being very greedy it will show in numbers as it already is, I bet not many people rush back to this restaurant after they get there bill at the end😳😳😳
Thank goodness they publish their prices though....

First class video Alex. It’s great to see The resort looking busy at night. Although I would be a lot happier having a strawberry daiquiri in one of the beach bars than being on the strip. ( it must be a age thing) 😂

Alex, I have just watched a video from DW News,a German broadcast. They showed the poverty Mallorcans are living in. I was shocked. Why is the government not doing something about the living conditions of their people?
Hi Alex, thanks for talking about that video. The "Majorcans" he samples are not Mallorcans or Spanish, they are immigrants of various nationalities who come to work and try to live in those deplorable conditions. If you knew the society and the Spaniards you could differentiate them. I have experienced situations, for example, that all the waiters were from Pakistan and the tourists thought they were Spanish. On the other hand, this situation is a consequence precisely of the society of mass tourist consumption. The prices will be higher but the salaries are lower, without labor contracts And therefore social security. That's why Spaniards haven't done these jobs for a long time; immigrants like video workers do them. That's why the next time you go to bars and restaurants, look at the people who are working there, in those conditions for the entertainment of tourists. Don't complain about the prices, you can pay them, while those poor workers don't.

yep we have the wind as well temp up in single figures heating on, the sun made an appearance, the sky cryed a bit around 9 oclock this morning but fluffy clouds came in, it ended up quite pleasant just nice for the dogs lol

Mallorca has become extremely expensive to stay for hols and the weather has become so random there I mean it really looks cold on this vid 😢 I think Tenerife and old town Benidorm are the places to go for which is a shame for me as I love Palma Nova beach my fave Spanish beach of all. 🌈❤️🏴 I don’t mean to be negative but I would be gutted being sat at a restaurant with that weather 🌈❤️🏴 Kev the Scotsman is on his own so he can move around getting cheap rooms xx I have a large family so need to book a package deal which I normally do going direct to hotel but even that ain’t cheaper doing anymore 🌈❤️🏴
Thanks for all your info regarding PP Alex we have rented chairs and brollies from were you mentioned but this year will be our 28th visit to the place we Love but sadly its our last after what they have done this year regarding the beech 😢

Very interesting, there seems to be a wide range of prices. The strip looks busy to me, actually too busy for me, and it was still earlyish.
Alex am at Palma airport atm flying home to Birmingham on Jet 2. The flooding in palma has shut the half of passport control departing hall. Down to 4 lanes. Then Duty Free shop after passport control completely shut due to flooding earlier as noted in the sun newspaper. There are a number of huge delays / cancellations tonight. Jet 2 seem to be least affected from what I can see.

No one would ever find me in any restaurants or any bars watching football anywhere in world because i cant stand the game over rated and over paid people kicking a ball 🙈

Hadleys club not open Breeza and Daqiri palace not open Folies empty Tom browns was busy but there were still empty tables the one with the wedding party was empty apart from the party… I think it’s a little more than the chefs day off !
These videos are so informative, I appreciate them, but with those prices and many places closed, iffy weather, why would you bother?

Is it true about the disruption at the airports due to rain? Any recommendations for travellers in general as to where to go if their flights are ever cancelled or delayed? For instance green spaces near the airport & places to freshen up out side the terminal.

Hi, i like the updates, but you need to be more upto date, with the floods in Mallorca and especially the airport, planes couldnt leave the uk, because they couldnt land, still the next day, still no updates or news, just my oponion
Wow. Firstly I didn’t get out there yesterday because not only was it raining but the roads were blocked and flooded so I couldn’t get there. Secondly I’m also a mum so had to do mum stuff. It is only me running this channel. Today again im currently working - can I get there and be back to pick my daughter from school - I don’t know. I hope you understand. Thanks for your opinion tho.
