    Amazing! Wonderful! I was wondering why you didn't put some of that modelling clay underneath the hoof to support it. I am happily learning from you as i have a lladro piece with a broken part that is missing. The piece is called “girl with calf” and the calfs ear is missing. I obviously have to make a new ear and attach it. So thank you for the lessons.

    you can put a piece of expanded foam in the hole of the horse, carve it and then rebuild with epoxy all around

    Hi Martin, thank you for answering all of my questions. I have another one, do you think using the stove oven work as a hot box?

    • @marsgitar
      @marsgitar  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's not a good idea. Most ovens don't go as low as 150 F. . Also not good to use it if you use the oven for cooking food: the chemicals could coat the interior of the oven and that wouldn't be good for you.

    Hi Martin, I have another question, this is regarding the A & B putty and the Milliput. When you use water so it wouldn't stick to your tools does the water affect the adhesiveness of the putties. Also, can water be used to make them more pliable like plado and will mixing water to the putties delay the hardening of the A& B and Milliput. Thank you for answering all of my questions.

      Milliput doesn't stick to a wet surface very well. Once it's in place I use water on the tool so the putty doesn't stick to the tool as I smooth the Milliput.
      You can use water to mix with the Milliput as you are mixing it so you can make a more paste-like Milliput (not as stiff as the normal Milliput mixture. It might delay the hardening a little. Epoxy hardens by catalytic action (chemical reation), not air-drying like normal glue.
      I hope this helps. Good luck to you.

    Martin, greetings from Turkey, spray gun in my country is very expensive, can i give the same result as a well-branded brush for glazing and paint 🥺 I've got a viennese cup I want to fix but I'm not sure about the brush

      I don't think you can get a good finish with Cold Glaze using a brush as a final coating. It is difficult to get a nice even coating without brush marks.
      You don't need a good airbrush to apply the Cold Glaze. There are some very inexpensive airbrushes out there for way under $100. There are lots of videos on TH-cam comparing cheap airbrushes.
      If you absolutely have to use a paint brush. You could try applying several (2-3) thin coats and then use "MicroMesh" sandpapers to take out the brush strokes. Get MicroMesh set of abrasives that go from 1800 grit up to 12000 grit. You'll be able to sand and polish it to look like glass. Good luck to you.

    I can’t find the supplies needed?
    Glue, filler, tape, file. What is the hot box? Thank you.

      A list of supplies and stuff is in the description below the video. The hot box is described in this video: th-cam.com/video/23mvGKr6Meo/w-d-xo.html. There is a longer list of supplies and stuff in later videos. I couldn't possible list all the tools and supplies I use. Did you even try to look this stuff up on line?
