Ahhhhh! I'm soooo happy to find this Symphony after 10 years of searching. Remember the final movement playing on Classic FM when I was 14 and the only detail I recalled was that it was a Haydn Symphony. I'm now 24 and have gone through about 80% of his Symphonic works. I can die in total peace now. I'm a happy man :)

I know the feeling! There was a tune stuck in my head that I tried to find for years and years. It eluded all my guesses, and finally showed up at randon when I wasn't looking.
It's great to finally be able to listen to the whole work, rather than whatever partial theme remained in the memory!

Haydn is really the father of the symphony. The elegance and harmony of their compositions are amazing. Viva Haydn and his incredible and incomparable music. The symphonies are true musical masterpieces that provides us moments of unforgettable pleasure. The interpretation and direction of orchestra are superb.Bravissimo.

Such a fresh sound..each symphony contains such individual characteristics..never a dull moment with haydn..I find myself listening to random haydn symphonies every day..I never heard this one until recently on my haydn app.. caught the finale and of course it peaked my curiosity so now I am here to listen in its entirety..
