CoD: UO Walkthrough - Final Mission & Credits/Ending - Kharkov Station (Soviet Campaign)

Natasha,
The deeper into the city we go the worse it gets. Despite the mighty blows struck by our incessant artillery barrages, the Germans manage to ambush us from around every corner. Every inch of ground we take is paid for with the blood of our comrades. Luckily Boris, Miesha and Vassili have been spared such a fate. We have been through much together. Our forces are finally nearing the main square with the armor support still intact. Good thing, we will need those tanks. I can only imagine what awaits us at the train station. Yuri.

• Mission Objectives:
Get to the square.
Meet with Sgt. Antonov.
Cover Sgt. Antonov.
Help engineers cross the battlefield.
Regroup with Sgt. Antonov.
Use the Flak gun to shoot down enemy HE111S.
Head to the trainyard.
Destroy all inbound tanks.
Defend the trainstation.
Battle of Kursk
Synopsis:
In an effort to reaffirm the military might of the Third Reich after the devastating defeat at Stalingrad, the Wehrmacht planned a daring offensive against the Kursk salient, an exposed bulge in the center of Soviet lines. Due to bad weather, the German attack, codenamed "Operation Citadel", was postponed until July 1943. This delay gave the Soviets time to prepare a formidable defensive network consisting of miles of trenches and barbed wire as well as hundreds of thousands of anti-tank and anti-personnel mines. The battle of Kursk was to be the last major German offensive on the Eastern Front. Over a period of 8 days, the battle raged on, culminating in what would prove to be the largest tank battle in history. After this battle, German armies in the east were in continuous retreat until the war's end.

Man, I feel happy everytime I see that ending. It brings me tears of joy. The old days of Call of Duty.
Now it's utter garbage and about Zombies and what not. At least Battle Field 1 Campaign might be like this.
it does even more when you beat veteran in this level (I wish it was my case I made it this far on veteran but always get shot the last 5 minute)
i get pissed of for how hard can it be sometimes some missions but at the end im so happy cuz the game is real memorable and it pays of playing it

God damn it I have PTSD from this mission. It was so hard for me for some reason... I head the line like 100 times.... Keep fighting - - reinforcements are on their way! Secure this station, and the victory is ours!

Just finished it yesterday, and I literally have to hide under the train. Prolly killed about twenty or so Germans along the way

I'm going back through the game on hard mode and I'm stuck, all I hear is "Stukas, take cover!" then I die no matter where I hide.

i remeber as a kid tookj me forever to beat this mission. the stukas pissed me the fuck off
This would be the only game that has given me PTSD. And i've played other cod games too and never got PTSD as much I got from this game.

played it more than 10 times....intense.
Weird. Every time I played it every guy on the map aimed at me at once, so wtimes within a fraction of a second of the checkpoint.
I even tested reloaded 20 times in a row to confirm that I was getting shot from everywhere at once and the plane was homing in on me no matter where. Not even room for me to blame myself I was dead in as little as 5 frames of the mission starting.
Seeing this run where no one seems to even target him feels like super hax.

No supply drops no micro tranactions this was pure cod i played back in the day proper servers none of this yeah we have dedis but with no control the new generation is spoilt thinking cod was blop 1 or cod mw these games developed on PC FOR PC are the corner stone of all cods no SBMM no boost jump lighting lazer weapons just skill put any of these kids up against a skilled cod uo or cod 2 pc player and they will instantly rage quit.

Best campaign games ever played on PC
About 10 years ago or so, I some how managed to actually play in the credits like it was a mission. I'm still to this day unsure of how I actually made that happen, legitimately one of main mysteries in my life I want to solve.

This has to be the most rage inducing CoD campaign mission i have ever played.
I started playing cod since 2005 with cod 1 then cod 2 then cod 4, cod waw then mw 2 mw 3 black ops black ops 2 and black ops 3 then i stopped there because to me cod lost it's way but for some reason i never played the expansion pack well this is changed now because i finished untied offensive and it's a shame that i didn't play it earlier because this is a masterpiece.
I thought I was the only one doing this while waiting for backup lol

When the stukas come, hide under the train. Don’t hide under the train when the 2 minute countdown starts though.
The first british mission was pretty hard yet your only goal is to destroy german fighters keep attacking the bomber

Finally I finished playing this game, the normal mode seems difficult
How the mission with the biggest amouts of heals is also the hardest (and also one of the biggest area)
That part was really easy for me because i went through the building and killed a bunch of enemies from the giant windows. )

@@Chuked Well... Yes even I admit (and i am stuborn has hell), these were not bad game indeed, i suppose my opinion come from the fact that i grew up with the first generation of COD game (and no cod ww2 and vanguard do not count, i consider them an insult to our great grandfather)

Oddly enough, for the last showdown, you can actually camp underneath the train cars the entire time and the stukas will friendly-fire on their own tanks for you lmao

I absolutely LOVE this game but the hard difficulty is totally unbalanced bullshit in COD1. Devs, although they created a masterpiece, created the hard difficulty by giving enemy AI extremely good aim, which would be fine, if at least ally AI was similarly good. Entire campaign I had to deal with stuff like a nazi solier running past two allies to one-tap me. This is further increased by enemy knowing where you are during combat and often ignoring allies closer just so they can run to you and kill the player.
And the very last segment just makes me sick. It's not fun, it's just about learning by heart where Stukas will strike, where the snipers (with godlike aim) will be.. and then have a lot of luck with all the little random things. It's a shame cause the game is one of the best ever, but this left me very frustrated.
Fun fact: There's a flakvierling at the south side or left side of the train station. You can use it to destroy tanks and troops (Unless you're going for a no war crime run, don't use it at troops.) Although the enemy troops can kill you while using it, how can you die if there's no troops?
This is maybe helpful if the 88 gun got destroyed or if you ran out of panzerfausts.
EDIT:
If you are using the flakvierling while the reinforcements have arrived, the cutscene will get bugged/glitched, showing the crosshairs of the flakvierling and the behind the scenes of the arrival of the train too. Don't worry as the cutscene will still play but depending what direction you were looking at while using the flakvierling (for example you were looking the the north), the cutscene will start with your view pointing or looking at the north.
(Discovered this by accident because I had too much fun commiting war crimes)
It gets destroyed at the end after getting bombed by stukas. I used that flak to destory all those tanks

At pavlov's house, when i destroyed the 3rd tank i saw a soldier and shot at him with an ANTI TANK RIFLE! I really have fun commiting war crimes.

I could not work out how this player was able to avoid being hit even once by bullets or bombing until I looked up the cheats for the game on Google. Then all became clear.
InTheNameOfJustice It took me dozens of times to figure out how and where the enemy spawns. Making this clip wasn't exactly a walk in the park.

You can also destroy tiger tanks there with aa gun if flak 88 is destroyed or if you're out of panzerfaust 60
It's thanks to this weapon I have winning this mission for the first time (very stong weapons for destroying tanks)

I encountered a bug, the flak gun explodes and after that nothing happens. Every soldier just waits there.

The name i have no clue, has for the class i suppose it was a heavely converted heavy industrial transport for military purpose ...possibly a more steel plating to avoid it behing derealed with the impact such has the one it took getting in the station is my guess. (tho i am uncertain has to what you mean by class sir)

Good expansion but this mission was terribly designed. I played on Hardened and I could only complete it by cheesing it by hiding under the train after all tanks were destroyed, and abusing quicksave. Probably died like 100 times.

I always hated the final battle at the train station. Even on regular difficulty, it was insanely difficult and took many tries to beat it. When i finally did i was so happy, but the ending was garbage and totally not worth it.
