I've got grows like this on the go all the time, want to see more comparisons, check out the playlist th-cam.com/play/PLo2lJRNsvsRJmH8zg8d64IwvL3vIwQhxG.html
That's some very cool information, thanks for taking the time to share. I look forward to seeing how the plants will perform now that they are in the garden. Maybe in the spirit of the video I'll have to reinoculate them once a month.
Thanks for picking us up House Dad! Great content. I'd love to elaborate a bit on your side-by-side and give you some vital information! First, The radishes and the buckwheat, don't associate with endomycorrhizal fungi! Since they don't associate with AMF, and that's the only active ingredient in DYNOMYCO, not much should be expected. The fact that they were pretty similar is very interesting. This should raise some questions on your end ;). Second, DYNOMYCO is not intended to be used as you used it. It's meant to be either mixed in the growing media or placed directly in the planting hole. Looking forward to seeing another video of yours!
Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. There is a bunch of testing I'll be continuing to do on the channel that doesn't follow conventional wisdom. The purpose for me is to learn better methods to grow and to share back to the growers in the community that have taught me so much. If there is a test you would like to see, I'll add it to the list which is becoming a bit of a short story.
@@HouseDadLife You're welcome. I enjoy your way of doing things and will be following. Most importantly is to use the product on plants they were intended to be used on.
I believe "more gooderer" is the phrase you were looking for...at. The grit thing from the Dynomyco didn't float my boat. Looking forward to the Orca. I did use some Great White the other day on the Kratky strawberry plant (still no strawberries, but lots of great leaves and flowers). Did you cook the radish leaves? I hope all is groovy in the Great White North. Smash.
Ha ha ha, I'm also looking forward to the orca trial, have a 3 way in coco coir peat mix between recharge dynomyco and great white on the go right now. I haven't been able to try any radish leaves yet, none in the grow, I've been cloning my strawberry plants that have just started to produce. I'm thinking about possibly making an outdoor strawberry tower hydronic setup again, I've done this in the past with great results. Thanks for stopping in, hopefully you video your strawberries; I would be curious of your results in kratky.
Dynamyco is very good product. I found it very good for dusting root balls for transplanting. Excellent video and was very interesting to see in synthetic growing system and ph adjustment. Was very informative and I was actually suprised at the results as I've seen some of your other videos and were great products, but that was impressive. Remember some of these are better in living soil and organic growing with products like Down to earth and Gaia green. In a mix of say castings and promix hp. Yes also Orca should work well in your hydro system. That company also has a new seaweed , fish protein mix that's a microbial food to go with the line as well btw you may want to check out . Should be great but don't know about hydro system with it. But as a great experiment try growing seeds with the same products in Gaia green living soil for example or fox farms happy frog and see what happens if at all possible . Dont ph adjust the water either , just let it go natural as the microbes do best that way . Its incredible with these microbial products and with the organics make it an excellent way to grow with explosive results
Glad you enjoyed the video. Lots of great ideas on your post I can look into trying. Very interesting comment you made about not ph adjusting. I don't know if I could do that, most of the time the ph in my system is extremely stable. (My Dutch Bucket setup) There are times I get very big changes in ph and I think it would be WAY out of range if I didn't intervene. This does make me curious though about how I might do an experiment to see what happens without jeopardizing my whole grow.
No definitely not in the Dutch bucket set up . Hydro with synthetic nutrients its essential to adjust your ph of course. I mean if you start seeds in an organic soil such as the gaia or fox farms. But yes excellent content and interesting to see in higher salinity gardens and different systems ! Always informative
The water stays the entire grow for these experiments. I try to go 4 weeks but sometimes they go as long as 6 depending on how the plants look. I want to be able to see some kind of conclusion.
@@getbrainseeds I now use root wise microbe complete. It has the mycorrhizae and also has azos and a bunch of other microbes. The roots were crazy after using it. I could see new roots growing in a clear solo cup, great stuff
I haven't used it so I can't offer an opinion. There are so many different inoculants out there in testing them to try and find the one that works best for me.
Might want to do a flat out grow off of some of the various more popular rooting products. Might generate alot of views. H&G roots exel gold, mykos, great white, rapid start, rhizoblast and myco Jordan. I think all the companies offer sample sizes except GH and H&G. From my personal experience the H&G gold used to really seem to add noticeable root mass. I was told the old formula was combo of some of what is in thier amino treatment and now they have a different formula. I do not know if that is 100% true though. I like your paint brush method I have used something equivalent to a salt shaker in the past.
I'm glad you like these comparisons, unfortunately I haven't been doing them for some time. I found a grow combo I was really happy with and had no reason to continue.
Yeah he ripped a shitload of roots off of the radishes I think it was when he pulled him out and it made the Michaels look way smaller than the great white
You're probably right, I end up ripping a ton of roots ever time I do this. They end up as part of the root mass or in the pail which I show at the end. I video it all so you can be the judge.
Nice experiment! Amazon just dropped off a small container of great white, seal was broken and it smells a bit like bvitamins, is that normal? Thinking I should send it bAck but also thinking the seal maybe didn’t stick because of the dust Heard it described as selling like candy but idk
I've had a few people ask for a control, it might be something that I do in the future, in this video th-cam.com/video/e8Lleq4az-o/w-d-xo.html I do a comparison with Great White vs Without.
So not to put your test down. I absolutely love videos like this. I wanted to let you know that a true test in comparison could be done growing clones side by side because they share the same genetics. Growing seeds even from the same mother could have different phenotype which could result in faster growth in 1 seed over another. However if you had clones you'd get a more accurate result. Just a suggestion though, i don't mean any offense by this comment. Keep up the good work!
I've heard this several times but have no where to clone atm. Thanks for taking the time to comment. In the future maybe I can get a nice cloner setup.

I love the comparisons, but I think adding a control plant would help a lot.
Thanks for the feedback, a few have mentioned this, it might be something I look into for the future.
The dynomyco is a soil additive specifically formulated to grow in the desert soil in Israel. And it’s damn good in soil! Damn good

@@HouseDadLife will you be doing another test on plants it was designed to be used for in soil by chance ?
th-cam.com/video/A7jv4ZAvMsg/w-d-xo.html is a link to video where it's used like they suggested. Is there a test you had in mind?
I’d love some and would do a soil out door grow review

Great experiment and video , thanks
Glad you enjoyed, always got one on the go, more to come!
Can you test out og biowar I’ve had great success with it but do t see too much on TH-cam about it
Do you change the water in buckets thoughout the grow or does it stay the same? And if so, how long did it take from start to finish?
The water stays the entire grow for these experiments. I try to go 4 weeks but sometimes they go as long as 6 depending on how the plants look. I want to be able to see some kind of conclusion.
Have you tried mykos vs white shark? Just curious.I have only tried mykos but results were pretty crazy
I haven't tried mykos, I'll have to look them up

How long did these plants grow?
It's around 30 days.
Can you try TPS billions myco vs great white
I'll put it on my list.
So I’m currently watching many of your videos so I already commented this but hopefully you see it. Run myco bliss against great white.

Would have loved a control group to see how using neither would do.

I love Dynomyco made in Israel
Thanks for the heads up, I was almost considering trying it.
Yet another video about mycos that don’t even have any proof that the myco is growing on the roots at all
I'm not sure what you're after as far as proof goes. I'm just trying to compare to get better results in my grow.
