    Sidenote: Mykos only contain's specific single species mycorrhizae, Rhizophagus intraradices (the most important) and no trichoderma... Great white contain's dozen's of mycorrhizae species, bacteria and 2 species of trichoderma...
    And right, mykos is more a grain like structure and great white is a straight powder... Powder is better to sprinkle the root's...
    I used great white before (great result's) and now i try mykos...
    I wonder how it work's out...😊

    I've used Great White, Orca, Mykos and Azos. I would have to say Extreme gardens is WAY cheaper. You don't have to add that much , a little goes a long way. The kind you have is for transplants. There is a powder form that I like just like Great White. 1 tbs for 2 gallons is all I gave my plants l. They want you using more than you need so you keep buying more frequently. There is a limit , you can add to much , and you will just be wasting money . 1 tbs per 2 gallons , can't go wrong.

    • @HouseDadLife
      @HouseDadLife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's currently one of my favorites from what I've discovered this last year. I find that is often the case with hydroponics, they all have you mix way more than what is actually required to give you a solid result.

You are getting ready for winter as well... we just finished cleaning up the garden outside and the yard is almost ready. Glad to see you stop in and take the time to leave a comment and smash! Hope all is well in your neck of the woods as well, take care.

    From my understanding recharge is to continue fueling the myco and not to technically start it. Myko from what i gather on the web continue to live on while other brands die eventually. Theoretically speaking. Myko has a singular family of fungi while white has a few diversity. The ppm is a good indicator that there may have been microbal competition among the white over the myko. I haven't done my own experiment yet. However from a seedling application i believe great white would be superior in comparison to germination.

    Nice experiment, but my big point is, like so often, sample size. Having at least 10 or 50 plants of each would make it more significant and outliers wont matter that much. Anyways great setup and topic!

    Love this so much!!! But the tomatoes not taking to the great white is really confusing to me. I was recommended great white SPECIFICALLY for tomatoes. I would love to see a retrial maybe on different varieties of tomatoes or maybe just in a non hydroponic setup. I was told to dust the root area with the great white before plugging in my tomato plant and I would get massive tomato roots! ❤️‍🔥

    • @HouseDadLife
      @HouseDadLife  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I've since done them in soil not exactly a trial, but a root dusting before planting. I've done the same with many other plants on the yard with and without great white, it clearly provides plant benefit. The ones with great white consistently out perform those without.
