The way I see Cody vs Roman going can basically be best summed up in one sentence: "If you thought 39 was overbooked to hell and back? You ain't seen nothing yet."
WrestleMania 40 might be a good old Russo level booking and infinite run-ins. Imagine if Tama Tonga and/or Haku will betray Cody so Roman retains the title. It would be that most predictable finish - Cody throws up the Wolfpac sign, he hits Cody with a Gun Stun and Roman hits Superman punch. 😂
@@MykaTheDevil I want to see CM Punk run in to interfere against the Rock in this match attempting to get even with the Rock from 2013 Royal Rumble only to get squashed by the Bloodline and the Rock. Maybe even the Rock using the GTS against CM Punk and mocking his taunt

Brian's logic for the tag belts makes perfect sense to me. The only issue is that even while they've been unified, you rarely see the champions appear on Smackdown. Judgment Day are on Raw 95% of the time,so the Smackdown teams have nothing to do. Splitting the belts is ironically the smarter option here
@rexventura4603 normally I'd agree, but we've had the tag titles unified since 2022,and this has been a constant problem. The champions rarely show up on Smackdown. Even under Triple H's booking,he doesn't have them show up on Smackdown enough
I would prefer keeping the tag titles unified, but introducing a trios belt in addition. That way all the 3 member factions have something to fight for as well.
If this were Russo, Rollins would betray Cody, rock would betray reigns, and then instead of a title match we'd switch partners for another tag team on night 2 Oh and he'd arrange for a retired jbl to get caught in a shoot for olde times sake
It really feels like we're approaching the end of an era and the beginning of a new one at this point. The Bloodline story is hopefully concluding. Heyman is going into the Hall of Fame and possibly getting his send-off in Philly. Bayley is getting her redemption arc. We're possibly getting the end of the LWO/LDP saga as well as possible finale to Rey and Dom. We could see the end of the dominant titles of Gunther and Rhea Ripley. We get the dream team of Bianca, Jade and Naomi. CM Punk gets to do commentary with Cole and McAfee which should be fun to hear. And of course... We may hear "America, America" make a comeback if KO wins the triple threat. 😂 We're in the endgame, now.
I don’t think triple h is dumb enough to let Cody lose again , even at wrestlemania 30 they let Daniel Bryan win and have his moment and that’s when Vince was in charge . I just see no logical reason to have Roman keep the belt
Cody vs. Roman II has the potential to be the most overbooked Mania match of all time. Im predicting many run-ins, chicanery, and ref bumps that would make Russo blush!
I think matches being overbooked are lame, HOWEVER, with the story that they have told here over the past 2 years, anything would 100% make sense. Its like Avengers Endgame. Sure its alot of fan service, but it was warranted because it was the culmination of a whole well told story, with some set ups for future stories to be told.
I believe in the "Cody-vengers" theory that a bunch of babyfaces are going to show up to equalize the Bloodline Rules for Cody. Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, throw in a legend or two like they work out a deal to have Goldust appear - a whole army of faces who have beef with the Bloodline over the course of the run. They will equalize it down to Roman vs. Cody one on one which Cody will win.
@@Phyrre56that's kind of the thing, Roman and Co. Have ran over every upper middle to top babyface and even a few heels. Roman and Rock want no dq when really a dq benefits them. Be careful what you wish for.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought Rock in the last 10 years was bland. When I saw clips of his feud with Cena, something was off. It didn't feel like The Rock. It felt like Dwayne Johnson wearing a Rock skin suit or something. He lacked his old charisma, his energy. He wasn't even that old. This newer, meaner Rock is The Rock. Maybe not the same energy as 2003 Hollywood Rock, but he's also 51 as opposed to the og Hollywood Rock being in his early 30s, so I get it. This Rock is pretty damn good so far.
I like the idea of Rock causing Roman to lose. I also think it'd be interesting if Rock got kayfabe injured in the match and Roman got the pin on night 1, took all the credit and berated Rock for "almost" losing and then Rock turns on him on Night 2.
I agree with Brian that it would cheapen Cody's win if it's only "because" of Rock. I think Cody wins, Rock blames Roman for embarrassing the family, and that is the eventual feud between them.
@@Phyrre56i totally agree you can have it to where solo will start straying away from roman because of the rock influence on him and eventually turning on roman....might set up roman vs solo at summerslam
I'd like to think it would be the other way around. Rock gets the pin on Cody in Night 1, pissing Roman off and causing friction against the two heading into Night 2.
I hope the Rock doesn't turn for many reasons. One Cody needs to win this relatively clean. Two if the Rock is leaving to do the Mark Kerr movie it doesn't make much sense for him to turn in the biggest match ever then disappear shortly after. That's if the Rock who looks like 2000 Lex Luger doesn't need to be in a body cast after the match
I think Cody/Rock was originally a shoot but once he got the initial reaction, Rock leaned hard into the rumors. I kinda figured it was BS when I heard that The Rock was pushing to win the title from Roman 2 days after the Smackdown segment.
The jacket color matching the Wrestlemania colors is top notch 👍 I'm kind of surprised to hear you not being in favor of splitting the tag titles. At least it's a different opinion than that of most online influencers with most of them favoring a split of the tag titles. I don't see Rey and Dragon winning with them teasing a Carlito heel turn when Rey picked Lee as his tag partner last week on SmackDown.
Well the only online wrestling podcasters I've listened to have been EXTREMELY in favor for keeping the tag titles unified. So I guess it's depends on where you look.
The irony of the Cody Crybabies nickname is if the Rock hadn't cried about fans not accepting him coming in and taking a match that Cody earned the phrase would've never been spoken by anyone.
It was kinda weird. I think for a couple days, after Punk was hurt, the plan really was Cody vs Seth and Roman vs Rock, but /someone heard the outcry for Cody and thus...we got an awesome heel Rock.
I thing the one point that makes it even more a Cody vs Rock thing, more than Cody vs Roman, is Cody admitting Rock was a hero of his in the business and one of his all time favs. It adds so much depth to the whole thing when the villain of story, was the hero's hero. I love it, has a poetry to it. Gods I love rasslin, this mania has the potential to be an all timer, absolutely.
Oh god... You're right... The inevitable Rock v Roman feud might actually BURY Roman, after being WWE's top guy for half a decade. The second The Rock and Roman have a back and forth, Roman is done. Roman just isn't strong enough, and doesn't fully connect with us on the mic. Cody isnt on The Rock's level either, but he can at least hang out in the same ballpark. Edit: I agree with your tag team prediction, and to take it a step further, I think specifically The Rock PINS Cody in the match. To set up night 2.
I'm in favor of splitting the tag team titles. I think there were 14 teams involved in the qualifying rounds for the ladder match and almost all regular teams from the main roster. They need more than one set of straps to keep all those teams occupied in my opinion.
The only way to make the Cody story work and to make it not suffer apathy once he gets it, make it like the WM 17 ending where Cody becomes heel teaming with the Rock and he goes chair crazy on Roman
That's the only way his title run will work and not get boring he should turn heel that'll give him more range and bring the best out of his character he'll be a more entertaining champion and people will stay behind him and his reign because if he stays the same eventually they will turn on him for the next hot guy and he will get Cena type of heat.
Seems kinda obvious that Cody will beat Roman, so Roman and Rock win Night 1 to stack the deck against Cody and create doubt. Cody overcomes the odds and wins Night 2. Assuming some sort of big return or debut to help with the Bloodline interfering.
Maybe returning legends to help even the odds for Cody. Something along the ballpark of a certain Texas Rattlesnake and/or a hat-wearing face of the company.
@@DasNordlicht91 I kind of envisioned it being like that WCW PPV (I think it was Souled Out) where, during the Benoit/Sid match, the locker room emptied out on the stage to watch the main event match. Maybe even have the locker room stop the Bloodline from interfering. I don't know. It sounds weird, but they've built this up to be be an important match.
@@DasNordlicht91 I could see an Uso reunion on Night 1 after their match. Then the Usos and Solo interfere first. KO, Sami, and Orton fight them off. Then the Rock comes out and either Cena or Austin come out to fight him off. Something like that makes sense. I don’t think Cody gets an advantage from his help. I think the guys who have been screwed by the Bloodline get their own revenge to help.
@@smithandrew051the match should be laid out where the Rock and the Bloodline put the screws to Cody, who refuses to give up. Then when all hope seems lost, that’s when the babyfaces begin to run in, Endgame style.
Mania 33 Bayley successfully defended the raw women’s title in a fatal four way. She also defended the Smackdown title successfully at 36 although no fans in that one.
I have a different perspective with my predictions. Mine are the following: Rock and Roman win Rhea Retains Gunther Retains Logan Paul Retains Awesome Truth and A Town Down Under win tag titles Dominik and Santos win with help from Carlito, who will betray the LWO LA Knight Wins Jey Uso wins Bayley wins the WWE women's championship Team Jade, Bianca, and Naomi win The Final Testament win Damien Priest will cash in during the McIntyre vs Rollins match and pin McIntyre to win the world title Cody Rhodes wins the WWE championship I think with Cody winning the title, this allows more heels to win then babyface's. I think that Seth walking into WrestleMania for the first time as world champion, would be very ironic if he lost his title the same way he won his first title. By being cashed in on and not even pinned to lose the title. Priest could have a short run and drop the belt at Backlash or Crown Jewel or whatever Saudi show is in May before clash at the castle.
Tinfoil hat on. I don't believe WWE was genuinely going for Rock v Roman. They changed course way too quickly, compared to the WM 30 dilemma where it took a month plus for WWE to actually switch courses and finally cave. They knew the backlash was coming and took advantage of that to add an extra wrinkle to the rematch everyone saw coming a mile away. Tinfoil hat off.

@@UrineilRoman fans just can’t say “I don’t want Roman to lose the titles because I like him”. They have to create a weird argument to justify their take.
I personally (over)think Drew is losing. The story has been him saying that Seth is too obsessed with the bloodline to focus on him and he'll take his belt for it. All the while Drew has been entirely focused on Punk, who is at ringside doing commentary. I think he gets distracted and loses due to Punk and he gets his crowning moment in front of fans at Scotland at Clash at the Castle.
Bizzaro booking: Drew teams up with Judgement day to to win and joins them as a leader. He learned from Bloodlines and now making his own faction and will help Damian Priest to win a cash in to defeat a 'tiered from 2 main events' Cody on Monday.
Excellent assessment of Rocks star power eclipsing Roman and making him look like an afterthought… I’ve always felt Roman was a supporting player in the main bloodline saga while Jey and Sami made for the most compelling moments.
Last year and this year we have a father vs son. And we also have a brother vs brother match. What will WWE do next year for a family feud? Cousin vs Cousin : Roman vs Rock? Triple Threat Brother match: Jimmy vs Jey vs Solo?
I think he might go for the IC. It would be massively unexpected, I think he's ready for the next step, and it would be a memorable end to Gunther's run.
Damien Priest has had so many opportunities to cash in where Seth has been beaten down and primed for a cash in, and refuses to do it. Seth Rollins could die in the middle of the ring and Priest would still not cash in.
thankl the lord finally someone else said it. ive been saying this since the beginning that roman has been made to look so weak compared to what the rock has been doing. roman and the bloodline didnt take out cody the rock did. he made cody bleed. im getting "I did it for the rock" vibes from when rikishi ran over austin. its just it doesnt make roman look good. but here is something else i wanna present and please (i have no wrestling friends and ive tried to talk about it) i think this whole roman story from beginning with fiend and lesnar. to now. who can cody wrestle. seriously he goes to smackdown. who does he face? roman beat everyone and honestly imo the majority have been made to look kind of weak. like idk who is a heel in main event scene on smackdown, or raw for that matter that can challenge cody after this roman reigns stuff, (dirt sheets seem top believe we will be getting everyones favorite scumbag at night 1 just as a hey hes here mjf). so we are left with if rhodes wins, probably gonna be this insane extended program between them, where he will probably fight the rock, solo, and jimmy all probably for the title to get it back into the bloodline camp. idk time will tell this is just some of thoughts ive been sitting on. edit: i also wanna see orton and owens tag team only to get the team name rkowens
Sometimes the expected thing is the right thing. Cody should 100% win the title, but doesn't mean there isn't some spice to make it more unpredictable.
Every ten years, it feels like the WWE gives Mania main event flowers to an undersized workhorse (Bret Hart at 10, Benoit at 20, Bryan at 30). I wonder if Cody will be the next version of that. Should be an interesting weekend. Also, anyone who is going, please stay warm!
You basically got all of night 1 correct, onlye not only did Awesome Truth win the tag match, but Theory and Waller did too, but pretty much dead on. Makes your night 2 picks locks right?
here are my predictions for some key matches: - Gunther vs Sami: Gunther retains, but will lose the title to Chad Gable before Bash in Berlin (at Backlash in France, for example) (Sami doesn't need the IC title; also, it would be great to see a jealous Sami being Chad's first major feud) - Seth vs Drew: Drew wins and will lose the whc to Gunther at Bash in Berlin - Rhea vs Becky: Rhea retains (who will dethrone her? Good question...maybe Liv - with the right booking - or maybe someone new, like Tiffany Stratton?) - Io vs Bayley: I think Io should retain (give her a big win at WM - which I don't think Bayley needs. Also, it can extend the feud a bit more) - here's the big one: Bloodline wins at night 1. In the main event of night 2, of course, Cody will defy all odds and finally beat Roman. There should be interferences like crazy on both sides (proper Avengers assemble for the good guys: Seth, Jey, Sami, KO...all the babyfaces previously defeated by Roman come back to even the numbers against the Bloodline). Overall, though, I think a key element of this story should be Seth taking a lot of punishment from the Bloodline for Cody. The big cherry on top of this insanity, however, would be to have - ideally - Stone Cold to participate (and/or Cena). Imagine the pop when Stone Cold gives Rock a mega stunner (that this version of the Rock should sell like a madman lol) So, Cody has won and the story is finished. Everyone is super happy, end credits and it seems that the show is fading into black when all of a sudden, Judgment Day's music interrupts the celebrations! The whole group attacks Cody, who fights them back as the valiant babyface that he is, but then WHAM! Seth stomps the crap out of him allowing Damian Priest to pin him. New champion. Nuclear heat. This way, the money in the bank contract isn't wasted...sure, he still has time, but I feel this might be the biggest possible moment, the culmination of plenty of build-up (attempted/hinted cash-in) and it could be one of the biggest cash-in in many years (at least since Seth's heist of the century). Next, Priest has a brief program as champion, which will give fans a breather after Roman's endless reign, but this creates major tension within Judgment Day (the group has lost the tag team belts during night 1, by the way). It goes without saying that Cody will win the title back and then move into a feud with Seth (maybe until Summerslam) before moving into a program with the Rock (until the Rumble, where Roman will attack Rock, thus putting into motion things for their match at WM41). Who should win the Rumble? How about CM Punk, so that WM41 night 2 main event would be Cody vs CM Punk for the wwe championship?
Cody has to win it clean. Nobody can touch Roman except him. If they wanna do Rock turning on Roman, they can do it on Raw after Mania. Those types of things used to happen at Raw after Mania but WWE has dropped the ball for a few years. Hopefully Trips gets Raw after Mania back to being amazing
If the relationship between wwe and AEW was good (might be, might not be i dont work for either) How cool would it be to have Dustin Rhodes come in and help in a way...not necessarily win it for him but yeah...bloodline...family etc.
0:46: (insert TPIR buzzer) SPOILER 🚨! SPOILER 🚨! SPOILER 🚨! SPOILER 🚨! Dragon Lee does not compete at WrestleMania XL Night 1 because of injury and the returning Andrade “Cien” Almas, a former NXT Champion, replaces Lee in that match!
The worst part about Roman retaining is sitting through another year of predictable matches because we all know his title reign isn't ending anywhere but a Wrestlemania.
I do disagree with the take on the tag titles. I think they need to split them up. Think about it. RAW has World title, World Womens Title, IC Title. SD has Universal Title, WWE Womens Title and US Title. I think, after Mania, the roster mixups will slow down and if you’re gonna split them up, now is the time to. If they don’t, screw it.
I feel like Rhea will win (even though I voted Becky in WrestleTalk’s league 😅) But I still think Rhea vs Bianca is an ultimate mania match and, unless they run Bianca/Charlotte next year, that’s Night 2’s first women’s main event next year
You hit the nail on the head with Sami v Gunther. Sami is my favorite current wrestler, and I am terrified to watch the match. Between Gunther's brutality, and Sami's amazing selling, I can already feel my winces coming.
Happy Wrestlemania & Happy WrestleWeekend 5 to you Brian hey ill be thinking about ya man i mean with the craziness going on in philly i dont blame ya for not going man
I stopped watching after they had Cole vs Lawler in WM, and just got roped back in at last years Mania. Im so happy WWE is back to telling compelling storylines, the beauty of knowing cody is going to win, but also have that little bit of doubt is what makes this so good. Keep me guessing
Not only does Cody need to win, but HE needs to be the hero, beat off all the bad guys and pin Roman clean. This sets up the future Rock-Roman clash, since Rock beat Cody bloody and pinned him on Saturday…and Roman STILL couldn't finish him on Sunday. So Rock will berate Roman and Roman will want his redemption at SummerSlam…and Rock will turn on Roman, take his position as Tribal Chief and take the SummerSlam match with Cody, setting up Roman for a face turn. (Doubt it will stick, but we will see.) OTOH, Drew's victory has to come because Punk screws Rollins. Thus setting up both a "Seth seeks revenge" feud with Punk AND Drew being completely furious because Punk tainted his win. "Yhuu ROONED my WrestleMania moment! This was moy Redemption, and now people are talking about YHUUU, ya little weasel! I will make yhu pay like no one has pay-ed before!" and so on. (Main event WM 41 night one: Drew and Seth v. Punk and Cena. Calling it now.)
When you say, thats what we ŵant. Speak for yourself. Sometimes, the fans don't get what they want. The company decides who ultimately wins, so, get over it.
I'm really invested in seeing what they do with Gable. Him dethroning Gunther has a lot of weight, and at least from my perspective, not pulling the trigger would be a waste
This has nothing to do with Wrestlemania 40 but I hope that they redo the Raw and Smackdown Tag tile belts. I do not like the penny- looking design. Keep the strap colors but alter the platings. With the Roman Rock VS Rollins and Rhodes match, I wish the Rock could wrestle in tights similar to the ones he wore around 1999. I just like the Brahma Bull and his name design around that time-span. Favorite color is red next to purple. On a side note, Rock should have grown his beard to look more heelish to go along with the promos and physicality. McIntyre should take the belt away from Rollins. He was one of the MVPs during the pandemic days. There was no crowd when he won the WWE Title so now, he should have that moment this time with fans watching in-person.
I think it would be interesting to do Bloodline Rules. Have babyfaces come out and battle the original Bloodline members, then have Jacob Fatu pop out and attack Cody, and then have Cody counter with MJF. That's some fantasy booking for you, lol The Rock, Roman, Cody, MJF, and Jacob Fatu in the same promo segment would be friggin awesome. If they added both, the could keep The Bloodline story going until next year.
My predictions: Santos/Dom win because Andrade will turn heel and assist them. Jade Cargill's team wins, can't spoil her PLE debut Judgment Day wins to continue their dominance over the Tag Division. Jey wins because he is indeed getting pushed. Gunther retains, because I am hoping Chad Gable wins the IC Title later Rhea Ripley will retain. Becky doesn't need the Title atm. Rock/Reigns vs. Rhodes/Rollins: Rock/Reigns wins so that way for Night 2 Steve Austin and/or Cena shows up to help Rhodes against Reigns later The Pride vs. The Final Testament---Lashley wins for his team, getting the pinfall over Kross LA Knight vs. AJ Styles: LA Knight will win, even though I like both wrestlers. LA Knight has been getting more of a push than AJ lately, so it makes sense. Logan Paul vs. Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens in a triple threat: I think Orton wins here because he is the best of the three. Iyo Sky vs. Bayley: Bayley wins since the odds are even now and she hasn't had a Wrestlemania moment in singles competition Rollins vs. McIntyre: Drew wins but Damien will cash in, and if Judgment Day loses their tag match, I think the chances of cashing in will be even greater. Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns If Cody doesn't win, then his story will be a waste here and a majority of fans will riot.
My prediction for Roman/Cody is also Bloodline rules, but it is just going to be Anarchy in the Arena. Cody's Avengers of Cody, Seth, Jey, and maybe even Dustin vs. Roman, Rock, Solo, and Jimmy, spotfest galore, pure chaos. Love ir
Its kinda weird, Jey v. Jimmy is only the third brother v. brother match in WrestleMania history (not counting Undertaker v. Kane who aren't real life brothers). Fitting that its in the city of brotherly love. Also crazy that those kind of matches only have happened every 15 years at Mania: Bret v. Owen Hart at WMX, Matt v. Jeff Hardy at WM25 and now Jey v. Jimmy Uso at WMXL, Makes ya wonder if they'll wait until WrestleMania 55 for the next one. But you've got so many stories coming together for the main event surrounding Philadelphia. You've got Rock returning there 25 years after first headlining WrestleMania XV. You've got Rock and Roman both as heels 9+ years after getting booed out of the building at Royal Rumble 2015. You've got the obvious Rocky underdog story in Philadelphia with Cody trying to beat the unbeatable champion after coming up short the first time, and even a guy named "Rocky" trying to stop him. Then you've got Reigns history with Rollins, the one guy he's never definitively beat. Then of course Paul Heyman's obvious ties to Philadelphia as well. Not to mention an ode to the first WrestleMania with a tag main event featuring a "celebrity" teaming with the champion, albeit as heels this time. Also Rock has usurped the leader of a faction before, so I wouldn't be surprised if he got The Bloodline to take Roman out like he did with Faarooq in The Nation all those years ago to set up their eventual match. The US Title match is basically KO v. RKO v. The guy who KOs everybody with brass knucks lol. After all the years of it being treated as the B-show under Vince, its kinda refreshing that this WrestleMania is a pretty Smackdown-heavy card. Only 3 matches are really Raw exclusive, the rest are from Smackdown or a mix of both brands.
I would like to see Santos and Dragon Lee have a feud after mania upon whatever outcome of the tag match. I can see those two really having a good program

I don’t think triple h is dumb enough to let Cody lose again , even at wrestlemania 30 they let Daniel Bryan win and have his moment and that’s when Vince was in charge . I just see no logical reason to have Roman keep the belt
@@kidboeger4694 Too bad the Rock didn't drag Triple H and Shawn Michaels into this by throwing insults at them
Paul isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
@@mohamadmahmoud6926 I don't think he's leaving the company all together. But, without the Bloodline story, what else could he do storylinewise?
@@kidboeger4694 They took a huge risk letting Roman win last year. Doing it again will cause fan outrage similar to the Hell in a Cell match in 2019.
In this context, it would work.
I think Roman demands the pin as Tribal chief on night 1 from Rock who then costs him night 2
The jacket color matching the Wrestlemania colors is top notch 👍
I'm kind of surprised to hear you not being in favor of splitting the tag titles.
@@DenniDownBad Carlito needs to be a heel again. That's Cool.
I think King Haku should walk out and send all the Bloodline to the back, leaving Roman alone to lose clean.
Everyone would listen. Lol
That would be so cool lol. I'd love to see a bloodline legend like Haku or Kishi but if we saw Kishi it'd probably be during Uso vs. Uso
Haku? Isn't he retired?
But Steve Blackman would appear and send Haku to the back
Who the heck is King Haku?
The irony of the Cody Crybabies nickname is if the Rock hadn't cried about fans not accepting him coming in and taking a match that Cody earned the phrase would've never been spoken by anyone.
😒😒😒
Rock is the crybaby
I was going point out the irony of Dwayne saying that in kayfabe when IRL he whined on Instagram about Black Adam bombing. 😂
It was kinda weird. I think for a couple days, after Punk was hurt, the plan really was Cody vs Seth and Roman vs Rock, but /someone heard the outcry for Cody and thus...we got an awesome heel Rock.
I think the Rock has every right to hate the Cody Crybabies considering they bullied and harassed his daughter
Bayley won a Four Way over Charlotte/Sasha/Nia at Mania 33 (the one you were thinking about).
Yep and she lost the tag titles at WrestleMania 35.
Bayley also retained the Smackdown Women's title in a 5 way match at WM36.
Al Jubayl (Saudi Arabia) Styles....
I think you’re under selling the production truck, that thing was lit up like a Christmas tree.
"And then [The Usos] are gonna do a superkick or three."
Holy shit that was a grand understatement.
I def want the tags to get split. There's too many good teams to not be on TV, to only be defending 1 set
It would make more sense if the people who the bloodline screwed over in title matches came out instead of CENA / Austin

Great Video. I would love to see Gunther in the WHW Title picture. A feud against DM would be great.
I have a different perspective with my predictions.
Mine are the following:
Rock and Roman win
Rhea Retains
Gunther Retains
Logan Paul Retains
Awesome Truth and A Town Down Under win tag titles
Dominik and Santos win with help from Carlito, who will betray the LWO
LA Knight Wins
Jey Uso wins
Bayley wins the WWE women's championship
Team Jade, Bianca, and Naomi win
The Final Testament win
Damien Priest will cash in during the McIntyre vs Rollins match and pin McIntyre to win the world title
Cody Rhodes wins the WWE championship
I think with Cody winning the title, this allows more heels to win then babyface's.
I like the idea of Drew winning, Priest cashing in, and Drew getting a rematch at Clash at the Castle

One year ago dragon Lee made his in ring debut at nxt stand and delivered one year later he’s making his wrestlemania debut
Triple Threat Brother match:
Jimmy vs Jey vs Solo?
What about a Damien Priest cash in at any point during one of the title matches?
I think he might go for the IC. It would be massively unexpected, I think he's ready for the next step, and it would be a memorable end to Gunther's run.
Damien Priest has had so many opportunities to cash in where Seth has been beaten down and primed for a cash in, and refuses to do it. Seth Rollins could die in the middle of the ring and Priest would still not cash in.
Spoiler alert, but I was wrong. Gonna be interesting to see what happens tomorrow on night 2, though
They need to remake the tag titles all the other belts have been given the sideplate treatment except them makes no sense lol.
Dragon Lee is fast tracked which is a smart choice, he's been ready and i hope they do the same for Dijak and Dragunov this.
thankl the lord finally someone else said it. ive been saying this since the beginning that roman has been made to look so weak compared to what the rock has been doing. roman and the bloodline didnt take out cody the rock did. he made cody bleed. im getting "I did it for the rock" vibes from when rikishi ran over austin. its just it doesnt make roman look good. but here is something else i wanna present and please (i have no wrestling friends and ive tried to talk about it) i think this whole roman story from beginning with fiend and lesnar. to now. who can cody wrestle. seriously he goes to smackdown. who does he face? roman beat everyone and honestly imo the majority have been made to look kind of weak. like idk who is a heel in main event scene on smackdown, or raw for that matter that can challenge cody after this roman reigns stuff, (dirt sheets seem top believe we will be getting everyones favorite scumbag at night 1 just as a hey hes here mjf). so we are left with if rhodes wins, probably gonna be this insane extended program between them, where he will probably fight the rock, solo, and jimmy all probably for the title to get it back into the bloodline camp. idk time will tell this is just some of thoughts ive been sitting on.
edit: i also wanna see orton and owens tag team only to get the team name rkowens
Sometimes the expected thing is the right thing. Cody should 100% win the title, but doesn't mean there isn't some spice to make it more unpredictable.
Yea that unpredictable part would be him losing since everyone is expecting him to win.
Yes give The Bloodline nuclear heat.
I won't give my full predictions. But I think McIntyre wins, then Priest cashes in his briefcase. But McIntyre beats him too.
Ohhh I never thought of it that way
Every ten years, it feels like the WWE gives Mania main event flowers to an undersized workhorse (Bret Hart at 10, Benoit at 20, Bryan at 30). I wonder if Cody will be the next version of that. Should be an interesting weekend.
Also, anyone who is going, please stay warm!
But aren't they setting Cody up as the new face of the company like a Cena 2.0?
You basically got all of night 1 correct, onlye not only did Awesome Truth win the tag match, but Theory and Waller did too, but pretty much dead on. Makes your night 2 picks locks right?
I can only hope!
I think that they are using the three way tag match as a way to test Jade on the big stage before they pull the trigger on Belair vs Cargill.
here are my predictions for some key matches:
- Gunther vs Sami: Gunther retains, but will lose the title to Chad Gable before Bash in Berlin (at Backlash in France, for example) (Sami doesn't need the IC title; also, it would be great to see a jealous Sami being Chad's first major feud)
- Seth vs Drew: Drew wins and will lose the whc to Gunther at Bash in Berlin
- Rhea vs Becky: Rhea retains (who will dethrone her? Good question...maybe Liv - with the right booking - or maybe someone new, like Tiffany Stratton?)
- Io vs Bayley: I think Io should retain (give her a big win at WM - which I don't think Bayley needs. Also, it can extend the feud a bit more)
- here's the big one: Bloodline wins at night 1. Imagine the pop when Stone Cold gives Rock a mega stunner (that this version of the Rock should sell like a madman lol)
So, Cody has won and the story is finished.
I'm pulling for Cody, but watch...

The worst part about Roman retaining is sitting through another year of predictable matches because we all know his title reign isn't ending anywhere but a Wrestlemania.
Damn, WrestleMania 30 still feels recent to me. It’s insane to think what happened these past 10 years
I do disagree with the take on the tag titles.
Imagine if Gable joins Imperium as an American representative
I feel like Rhea will win (even though I voted Becky in WrestleTalk’s league 😅)
But I still think Rhea vs Bianca is an ultimate mania match and, unless they run Bianca/Charlotte next year, that’s Night 2’s first women’s main event next year
I haven't watched wrestling in a while but seeing Awesome Truth made me double check I was looking at the preview for Wrestlemania 40.

LA Knight
Logan Paul

(Doubt it will stick, but we will see.)
OTOH, Drew's victory has to come because Punk screws Rollins.

Take a moment to appreciate how amazing this build up has been. I'll certainly miss it when Mania is over
I'm really invested in seeing what they do with Gable. Him dethroning Gunther has a lot of weight, and at least from my perspective, not pulling the trigger would be a waste

Night 1 was accurate!
I could see Austin come out helping Cody by stunning Rock like ol timesss
I am amazed to imagine the possibilities leading to this point. I wonder honestly how the custom gear is going to look this time around.
Cody vs. Roman is going to be an absolutely insane circus and I am READY for it.
My predictions:
Santos/Dom win because Andrade will turn heel and assist them.
Jade Cargill's team wins, can't spoil her PLE debut
Judgment Day wins to continue their dominance over the Tag Division.
Jey wins because he is indeed getting pushed.
Gunther retains, because I am hoping Chad Gable wins the IC Title later
Rhea Ripley will retain. Becky doesn't need the Title atm.
Rock/Reigns vs. Rhodes/Rollins: Rock/Reigns wins so that way for Night 2 Steve Austin and/or Cena shows up to help Rhodes against Reigns later
The Pride vs. The Final Testament---Lashley wins for his team, getting the pinfall over Kross
LA Knight vs.
Iyo Sky vs. Bayley: Bayley wins since the odds are even now and she hasn't had a Wrestlemania moment in singles competition
Rollins vs. McIntyre: Drew wins but Damien will cash in, and if Judgment Day loses their tag match, I think the chances of cashing in will be even greater.
Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns
If Cody doesn't win, then his story will be a waste here and a majority of fans will riot.
