This has answered a question about polishing hi-gloss interiors that I couldn't find elsewhere. You've given me the confidence to get after those annoying micro scratches. Thank you Scott. And - even better - I've already got some HD Speed on the shelf.
3" Buffing Pad is really useful. Matter in fact, I just polished my wheels today using 3" Lake Country Light Polishing pad with Griots BOSS Perfecting Cream on Meguiars G110v2.
let me know what you have as for tools and products..i can help you build packages that will work..you don't need everything my friend..let me see if i can help you!..i can make a video to help or we can talk by email or phone to get you going....you can do it!
How you doing Scott? How would you remove scratches from the plastic instrument panel lense cover? Also where did you get the 3in backing pad and buffing pads from?
i get the 3 inch backing plates (lake country) and the 3 inch pads also Lake Country force pads at detailed image or you can find them at autogeek as well online...hope that helps my friend:)
@@dallaspaintcorrectionautod8343 I'm wondering if this same process and HD speed is safe to use for instrument panel plastic? My cadilac is loaded with tons of high gloss piano black plastic trim.
is the chrome clear coated or not or just a chrome film over plastic?...i have used flitz metal polish and the flitz buffing ball and removed scratches either way and the ball will not harm the paint or glass surrounding the trim...just a thought..you could also take a metal polish and do it by hand:(
Dallas Paint Correction & Auto Detailing to be honest I wouldn't know. It's the same chrome that was under the window of your navigator when you did the b pillar video. maybe a video on how to in the future :)
thank god it wasn't 20 minutes:)..we can always find things to be thankful for unless your the type always looking for the negative in everything...good luck with that my friend:)
@@dallaspaintcorrectionautod8343 Scott, you could have EASILY gone for 20 minutes and it would be good information! Don't listen to the negative Nancy's that don't have the patience God gave a windmill. We appreciate you Scott, and all your knowledge you give freely!
Something like that. it's got the rounded Edge at the top and the bottom that abuts against the dash. it didn't look like you took the polisher to those edges. If you got a scratch or Nick on the rounded edges on the top of bottom do you try to roll your polisher up or do you get a rotary polisher that doesn't jump around like that and try to correct it.? I hope I am I getting my question acrossed properly .
it seems like its more honest to upsell. then to overcharge and hope noone has an issue. and if they do have an issue with ur price. then u do the deduction? lol
Scott you really need to figure out how to get custom links to amazon for these products so that you get a small commission each time someone buys. Lots of channels do it. It can really add up I hear.
Holy crap you love to yap a lot.took you till 8 min mark to start with anything productive. And what kind of crappy budget polisher are you using? No Rupes? It’s only the industry standard.
The hand/conversation coordination is, frankly, off the chain. Great, great information Scott!! Keep on keeping on.
the talking hands..lol..i love it!...thanks for the comment and support..much love Anthony:)
6 Mins 47 seconds of listening to why you charge so much before FINALLY you tell us what you are going to use!
Thank you, almost turned the video off till I saw your comment on the time stamp...
I think the same way in regards to pricing, I was just never sure how to communicate that clearly to the customer. Great video, Thanks!

Dude the first 4 minutes of commons sense we could have done without. Just get to the point. No lectures about detailing business needed. Thx.
If I am correct, you can take out the screws on that Harbor Freight buffer and move the on/off switch to the top. It is more convenient there.
good video buddy
