Lawton, OK 8 RPM Thunderbolt 1000T Siren Test/Ambiance

So umm, I happened to already be in Lawton because I had to get some teeth pulled out, so I just decided to stay in Lawton until noon so I could record another one of their Thunderbolts. This one was recently recorded by Central Oklahoma Sirens. It was 8 RPM and a perfect Level 5 so I just came to this siren and it definitely did not disappoint. And yes before anyone comes to the comments saying that’s it’s not exactly 8 RPM, I know. It’s actually 7 RPM but it was set to 8 and it’s close enough. I hope you enjoy the video!

This has to be their best sounding Bolt. It'd be cool if the Agastat was set a little longer though. Also, do none of the other sirens work on that side of town? All I hear are the Bolts.

I’d agree with you if not for the pitch drop at the thirty second mark or so… and if Mission Boulevard didn’t exist.
Yeah I noticed that myself - it sounded like the other side of town ran longer for some reason?? No idea

I have a suspicion this siren is on a timer to go off for a specific amount of time because both recordings of this siren, it seems other sirens go for atleast another 30-45 seconds.
